These recent posts make me doubt my read on Notscience. Scum don't want to leave connections to their buddies when they die, but Notscience is revealing the reasoning for all his reads here. This seems town motivated.

On the other hand we now have a L-1 Fart Bane. What interests me most here is that Bane suddenly disappears close to a lynch for the second time in a row. Look at his ISO. He is posting actively until October 14th, then disappears. He posts again on the 18th so say 'Guess Day one ends'... Now again he disappears around deadline. On October 30th, he says he will post his reads on Day 3

. But we didn't lynch someone soon. And there are still no reads. As time goes on, it seems more and more likely that Bane isn't intending on posting his reads before Day 3 at all. And what's this:

In response to Mindgamers section on the great and powerful Fart Bane, I didn’t want to see a hammer I meant for her to claim and explain her argument.

I misused the word claim. Not like I’m blah blah blah because. More like claiming in why her argument makes sense.

This must sound at least a little bit stupid cause reading it over it did for me.... BAUT I assure you I'm not lying.

I see what your saying Flay about scum having to think about a safe route. But it's also sort of te same for town.

Claiming is a last resort tactic. Something that thinking through wouldn't harm. But we do need that claim soon.

He said he's vt multiple times before yes but I thought a claim was meant to explain why you are vt. Sorry didn't jnow.

I'm not sure what to make of this. It seems the word 'claim' has varying interpretations for Fart Bane. The most glaring is that claiming is a last resort tactic according to Bane, but he suggested on Day 1 that Notscience should 'perhaps maybe' claim at L-2.

I'm thinking of switching, but I'll let the idea ponder for a while first. I'll be home for an assignment all day so I'll be able to keep an eye on the thread and be able to answer any questions promptly.

Jmo: You're basically asking for people to put themselves in confirmation bias mode. Regardless of the flip, we'll have new information tomorrow. We'll also have new discussion tomorrow. If people change their minds about who they think are scum, they should be free to do so provided they can back this up with reasoning. What do you envision tomorrow to be like? People vote today's scumread and that's that?

I meant that Jmo was most suspicious to me after notscience and Fart Bane. And I unvoted because I feel that notscience is more suspicious than FB, and I'd rather have notscience lynched today. I just never found a need to remove my vote earlier.

Well, if we're all doing this, then I'll post my reads as well.

If notscience flips town, then I'd say FB is most likely scum. If not, then I'm unsure on him.

Other than that, I was more suspicious of jmo compared to everyone else, but it's reducing because this tactic might be effective. On the other hand, it could just give mafia more information to decide their NK. Still, this current tactic feels fairly town.

No one really liked the strawberries. They had in fact become quite rotten.

He put down the saucepan and proceeded to do what he always did in such situations, letting out a high-pitched scream while scrunching up his air, followed by frantic arm movements that may, perhaps strangely, remind one of an octopus. On a normal occasion, if such behaviour could be described so, this would last for 5 seconds before DeasVail regained his composure. However, on this particularly special day, DeasVail's tentacle dance had resulted in the fall of his grandmother's fondue set, which came to lie in pieces on the kitchen floor.
