D Orbital Shapes



d orbitals are wavefunctions with ℓ = 2. They have an even more complex angular distribution than the p orbitals. For most of them it is a "clover leaf" distribution (something like 2 dumbbells in a plane). dorbitals have two angular nodes (two angles at which the probability of electron is always zero.

There are five different d orbitals that are nearly identical (n=2, ℓ =1) for the five different mℓ values (-2,-1,0,+1,+2). These different orbitals essentially have different orientations. There is one that is a little different than the others (this is the mℓ=0).

Ank has done nothing to make me think he's different from all the other times I've played with him when he was town. Sonic Boom's push on him seems a little weak.
I struggle to read Titus based off her posts, but I have correctly guessed her alignment twice in other games through other methods.

I did skimread Uncouth because it was fucking funny and if you are comfy the PRs from hell don't obfuscate your town game there I will go and have a look as that's far less work. Thanks. FWIW before rereading I think ika's play in Uncouth is far more similar to his play as scum in DOA than to his play here. YMMV, of course.

I am being bugged to get up and out of time but ika town read is a strong soul read based on

Level of dejection when mollie outed.
Level of yay when I inned (we can synch as town in similar way to mollie)
He is continually reaching out and trying to talk to people to keep his level of engagement up.
No town ika rage yet but early days

Scum ika on the contrary is an apathetic lurky fucksack . I think a good example onsite is DOA where mollie bagged him day 1 and he just crumbled. Very different to here.

His hammer thing is alighment neutral for him, its just a thing he does.

Organic chemistry? Not much apart from they seemed to be non funky roles (I remember masons for example) and there were more inventors, 1 scum, a back up town inventor and 3 town inventors IIRC.

My view is we don't need to fear a made up weird role like scum chemist. I don't have any further views really.

It was a step up. But I dont believe of changing the reads because of a single really decent post. I am waiting for more posts from him (hence putting him on the least scummy part)
