html was a super long-shot, but thought maybe someone would have thought www (I would have done https but it's not in websters) and gotten to 3 ws, but that was obviously a long shot, and I couldn't think of something that got you to web, wart and well.

I mean I considered it but I didn't think well was strong enough because I didn't understand the correlation. I also know nothing about mining.

Partially my bad - I told zoraster the clue was allowed but I didn't question his reasoning, so we're not going to take action. But in the future yes, clues that address a word's spelling/length/position/etc. are against the rules.
