like we flip osuka -> ydrasse surely has to be worried about the fact that she's been brought to gylo and isn't dead?

we flip plus -> osuka maybe instavotes you and then I have to navigate the "do I bus or do I play for the win dilemma?"

okay, let's think about this

we flip osuka today, then we kill andres

andres has annoyingly pointed out very cogently that this should require a big rethink on the game. I've tried to do some damage control there but this may have hit some people just right, idk

tomorrow is (you, me, ydrasse, plus, math) we will have to push teams tomorrow, there's no other choice. ydrasse might get suspicious that she's there with plus and not dead and vice versa

victory lies in selling one on voting the other one, casting math as the partner

*****

we elim plus today

we probably still have to kill andres tonight -- maybe looks obviously like a frame job but sometimes scum do just kill the person pressuring them the most

we push osuka + math team for the win (or at least I do)

problem is that idk if there's a good narrative for osuka + math scum team or not. also the dilemma of bus or play for win, which I lowkey hate choosing on. probably the safer thing is bus? then it's a 3p gylo of (me, ydrasse, math) where I can explain still being alive through the fact that osuka basically becomes conf!town after a shelly!scum flip

*****

okay, so there's a definite path to the win on either route, but it's longer if we do plus and involves a second bus probably (depending on how you think you can do in a 1v1 against osuka and how we think math + ydrasse will perceive that?)

so probably the easier route is to go for osuka, prevent andres from reconsidering post flip by killing him, hope everyone forgets the dead guy's reads on the game state being f u c c e d in that case, and try to encourage the ydrasse/plus conflict tomorrow

you could say something like

Andres can get investigative results regarding the role stopper.

I have an idea
stop pushing plus/math
the reason why you didn’t die was because you were wrong on something
then use that to push a world of plus/math

I'm not sure I can organically walk back on plus/math, I've tried to display lack of confidence in that as much as possible

tbf it prob wouldn't take too much to get plus to vote ydrasse tomorrow? in which case me living will fit perfectly into his schema of "mena has been pocketed by the scumteam of shelly and ydrasse who are setting me up"

change of plans: you probably need to bus the hell out of me if my position isn’t solid enough. and I’ll throw some shade at you to make us less partner-y

there’s a problem with the commuter thing however. if I die tomorrow, math commutes, you’re forced to kill either ydrasse or plus. and it becomes convince plus to vote math if you kill ydrasse. which is harder.

I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”

shelly do you remember who you've had optimal success creating bad associations with? because that would be the ideal person for me to bring to 3p gylo which is my current guess of the way things are going

but I'm not losing hope yet, 5p gylo is a wacky place where anything can happen. can pull the old "if shelly is lockscum then if we're wrong we lose now anyway, might as well try to find the partner now" trick. can also do the old "ehhh, I think shelly is likely scum but I don't think I'm ever not flipping X tomorrow so I'd rather just get them out of the way first"
"we knew everything... And we knew nothing."

why do I keep having to go to 3p gylo in mini normals when I'm scum

all I want to do is win earlier than that, 3p is so much harder than 5p bc it becomes 50/50 for the town to choose right and if they're suspicious about the fact that the gylo is REAL good for you and REAL bad for either of them as scum they can potentially overcome their suspicions of each other

fortunately a lot of people struggle to overcome their Bad Feels about the person they've mistrusted all game, so that's what I'm counting on. I might just no kill and take the game to 4p mylo and claim math is bluffing the commuter thing
