The more you repeat point 4, the less I believe you still think it's impossible for reads to progress throughout a day. You guys 1v1'd and Murder answered my request for an Antihero towncase since I posted that reads list. And you've been flailing pretty hard in my opinion. Think about it. Your proposed scum team is the two people most likely to be on your lynching wagon.

I don't think you know what "flailing" actually means - and this is regardless of your alignment since I kinda doubt you would invent a definition. You should check it somewhere in MD.
I never said it is impossible for reads to progress. Your progression is conveniently designed to benefit scum.
And no, there is no way you have a townread on Murder - for townreading Antihero - when the main reason they townread him was because I persuaded them and was adamant about it.

That was me wanting you to answer my questions and tell me about your thoughts on Rage and otherwise not understanding how the last 12 hours is a last ditch effort to communicate and find each other if you're town.
I already said I'm not fighting my lynch. I meant it.

I just can't even comprehend the depth of the disconnects in this game.

I swear if anyone townreads this... (besides Egg who is very likely the partner).
I just want to be really clear:
I'm
the one that was wagoned to L-2. Murder/AP is the one happily sitting back, munching chips and telling us that he is "okay with both the leading wagons."
So, please vote the hell out of this and don't fall for the fake sympathy act. Regfan was trying to point this out many, many times and I kinda fell for it too. I don't know how to stress enough that
they can't "accept their lynch" when they're not the ones being wagoned in the first place.

Scum-Ffery is tricky as hell to lynch. Because she doesn't fight back and push her accuser. She manipulates perceptions in a way that she is liked - thus making people dislike her accuser and voting them. She doesn't come on too strong or strongarm mislynches.

No. The main, or at least first reason was Mara, though you were part of it. And finding that interaction in my reread of day 1, even though it's probably been discussed before and you undoubtedly linked to it - seeing it through my eyes with my mind and my understanding of the game state did more to cement that read to never-lynch than anything anybody in this game could do on their own by persuading me.

Ive played over 300 games in the last 7 years. I think I know what flailing is. Just for laughs though, here's how I'd define it:
"A decline in quality of play while being pressured"
Yes, town do it too. But typically newbtown.
And, yet again, it's not the fact that Murder townreads Antihero specifically. It's the way they presented that reason for it to me. I can't even begin to guess why you are townreading Antihero. You just blindly accepted him as town earlier in the game and rode that stance to this point in the game.

You know, I don't really think you have to say malignant things like this about my play in order to secure my lynch.
I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt - still - by calling it a lynch and not a mislynch - on the off chance that you are town and actually believe my play in this game matches what you're saying here.
My scum game is what it is because I don't have the confidence to make it something else.
My town game is what it is because I hate and fear mislynching and the perfect has become not just the enemy - the antithesis - of the good enough.

I still want to talk about this. I don't remember you indicating that this read had JSU level significance to you. How was I supposed to pick up on this? Or, like I said, did you expect me to get the same sense from Anti?
Because he and I haven't played together nearly enough games for me to get that level of certainty from his play here. And, I've never played a game where he was scum. That's a significant meta gap to bridge.

If you're scum, I've already conceded to you.
The only thing I care about right now is if I should be seeing town in you.

I didn't mean to say it in a malignant way. I believe that what I described is a fairly vaild scum tactic that I don't find malignant in the slightest. I'm sorry though regardless of what your alignment is.

Here's my problem Ffery: this doesn't actually make any sense. In a world where you're town and I'm scum, why would you concede when I was the one wagoned to L-2? (I'm not factoring in Serra's vote which came after this post btw). It feels again like the sympathy move and it's bugging the hell out of me.

So much of what you've done this game doesn't make any sense either and I don't know any more if that means you're scum. I don't have the will to push this to a potential mislynch. I'd rather not be here in mylo if that's what happens.

This post actually echoes something that happened earlier, where you indicated in this game that you had thought I had decided I couldn't work with you in the FFX game on the basis of posts where what I tried to convey was "come on, do stuff" because I wanted to work with you.
It's a disconnect, which bothers me, but it's a similar disconnect. So, I have to decide if potentially scum-you in this game was truthful about town-you interpreting my posts in that other game.
I can't really see a reason for you to lie about it regardless of alignment here. It's the sort of thing that as scum I'd be truthful about because I like talking about stuff I can be truthful about in the game.
So, the misinterpretation is probably real, regardless of alignment.

↑ F-16_Fighting_Falcon wrote:7) Mikuru ArcAngel9 - I initially liked the detail of Mikuru's catchup in Post 594 and found it townish upon a quick skim but most of it is actually pretty terrible. I disliked the way he approached his read on my slot (GreyICE) as it feels like hedging on his read and make it seem like he is contributing without taking an actual position and it led nowhere. His townreads Murder for "cheek" and scumread on Antihero for "condescension" while criticising HB's vote on GreyICE as "weak" without offering his own opinion on what he thought about GreyICE was weak as hell. I hate the "I see GreyICE is disagreeing with a lot of my reads which is weird. I want to talk to him about some of these later" as it felt wishy washy as if he was afraid to take an actual stance. His entire catch up is made up of statements like "I agree with Riddleton but he's just echoing without adding anything new" and no thoughts that he actually backed up. AA9 replacing out because she didn't want scum taking advantage of policy-lynches felt somewhat town although I'd have been more convinced if she held the conviction in her GreyICE read before she replaced out but she seemed to be loosening up on that scumread. The thing that bugged me most about AA9 was that her pushes and reads didn't make sense and her reaction to being pressured was to criticize her wagon much like she did as scum in Final Fantasy X. I did a meta dive on her in that game and my impression was that her posts as town had an internal logic to them which goes haywire when she is scum. I need to develop this read more and ideally, I'm hoping Mikuru posts more content so I can nail down a read there.
This was from f-16's first reads list. It's interesting to me that the read kinda sorta goes against what I think was a consensus at that point, with the exception of serra, who I don't think changed his read on the basis of aa9's replace-out flounce. He has her replace out as feeling somewhat town. I was hoping I'd go back and look at this and see that he'd discounted her replace out in a similar way to he did with eyestott's.
Speaking of which, F-16 could you try to explain one more time why the way eyestott replaced out didn't look town to you? You said you didn't care for it. You said you didn't like that I thought it looked town (though I think other people expressed a similar opinion), but I still don't really get why you didn't care for it.

I feel like this game is going to collapse from the weight of the apathy.
I wish you guys had run us up in the middle of the night. I'm sitting here feeling like I've let town down. And I have. But jesus christ you guys could be in here doing SOMETHING useful even if it's voting us.
