Because I rarely get to LYLO and when I do it's only because a bunch of other players are playing worse than me... like pretty much every mislynch that game was bullshit and if either osuka or CommKnight had survived past N2 I would have been dead in the water.

As scum I'm essentially unable to sit back and let the game run its course (which is basically my MO as town)-- I almost always push some sort of agenda. In cosmopolitan I was first or second on every single mislynch...

That said. If I had gotten scum in this tournament (something which I would have tried to avoid if at all possible), I would have attempted to change that and play a game in the style of my towngame. But having RC and mastina and partners and seeing them go down how they did, there's no way I would have remained so calm.

apologize for the shitty read on the gamestate yesterday but I currently can't be bothered to dig again through that D1 yet and I'm going skiing this weekend. maybe if I'm not lynched by evening Sat/Sun I'll have some time. still think Creature/Smocaine town, scum probably in Smart or EP mostly lurking it out. BYF/singer LYLO decision would be awful but I'd probably lynch singer there

do we all agree on tracking Smart? I think he's probably the best track target due to the combination of "mislynchable if town" and "helpful if cleared" of the remaining suspect pool (Smart/EP/Singer/BYF). and if EP is town and gets the tracker and gets killed then that also feels like it's narrowing scum's mislynch pool.

A good rule of thumb is any speculation one could have made just by seeing team compositions before the event is allowed

To make life easier for everyone we're changing the ruleset and outright banning the things previously allowed by rule 6.

There are now no exceptions to the rule:

Players are only allowed to talk about mod-confirmed things from other ongoing Team Mafia games.

Any infractions to this rule from this point on will be adjudicated harshly.

BTW, I don't think any track target has a particularly large benefit compared to any other track target. Aside from Creature, who is probably least useful as mechanically cleared. Maybe Smocaine too, but even then clearing him is not significantly less useful than, say, clearing singer or smart.

Trying to keep your options open as much as possible and trying to establish the exact set of actions required for you to make it to LYLO.

I'm not saying you wouldn't do it as town but it's exactly what I'd expect scum-you to try.

Also I don't consider myself particularly mislynchable as town or helpful as cleared. (Though this is not something I'd expect you to know as it's been so long since we played.)
