ok. 5 days left. AP might be around tonight. I expect we'll revote F-16 when he's back.

I am kinda thinking about backing away and letting AP drive. I'm tired of being accused of being manipulative when I'm all but taking a can opener to my head in an effort to show my thought process.

Eyestott could have replaced out for any number of potential reasons. Perhaps he's scum who received info about someone's role. Perhaps someone erroneously talked to him about the game. I don't know what happened but I don't understand why it necessarily makes him town. It is a moot point though as Metal Sonic is really, really town.

Tone. Mindset. He was afraid to say anything that would influence the game. You could see how bad he felt, especially when he came back to reiterate that he was waiting to hear from bulba if he could continue. The concerns that scum would have in that situation are different concerns, and the way the posts come off are just different.

This happened in ny165 and it was a scum player (cabd) who was accidentally spoilered. He did a great job of toeing a line in his replace out post but the line was very clear - very clear to him - and it showed in what he posted. eyestott wouldn't be able to do what cabd did, but it dripped with genuineness. I reread cabd's replace out a dozen times trying to decide if it was town or scum replacing out (I was scumreading him at the time).

This replace out left no such doubts. There was no effort to prep his replacement. just real tension and regret. In a game where scum no longer have daytalk.

It was the prepping the replacement thing that Ankamius did that set my teeth on edge because saw it done twice by two different scum players in the ny 165 game.

1) withheld what he personally views as a GUILTY RESULT on someone until way late on in the Day. No reason for town to sit on its thumbs when thye are 100% convinced they have role related reasons for thinking someone is confscum
2) did not stop to consider that he could be wrong. Just kept shoving the case despite all of his townreads (and everyone) telling him it wasnt a good reason for a vote.
