Whatever.

{Saki, Bubba, Dram} initial lyncpool when I flip town; also never listen to a word waynegg says anymore because he's shit, also I still remain unconvinced that muffin isn't scum so please do work further in that regards.

I get the feeling we should lynch zmuffin now while GCBC is still around to lead it. barring smth like a cop inno we're prob going to end up lynching him down the road anyway

there's also the idea that we could confirm his track results

like i don't wanna let go of this

Btw I asked mod if I had anything that could get stolen. The reply effectively stated that only specific things mentioned in the role PM could be stolen. I have no such thing. Thus Mc is not a vanilla cop

I kinda agree with this? But we've got plenty of time and the unknowns need to be culled

This is funny since the Mod sent us an unprovoked message stating that the targets we steal from are unable to use the items we steal, and are not even aware of the fact that they have them to be stolen.

Lush had no idea they had a Rod to steal, and we didn't affect them by stealing it. We did get a hated status for the day though. The Rod ends up being a part of their flavor.

Dramonic had nothing worth stealing, so he is either a VT or he is a goon. Does anyone think that the scum team has a fucking goon on it? If you do then by all means go ahead and lynch Dram, ISO us and you will see that we aren't a fan of him so that should say something about the fact that we are going to bat (sort of) for him here. I don't see a goon on the scum team with what has flipped and the fact that we have a semi-role madness situation on our hands.

We don't even know if you're a vanilla cop, so that's too much to assume, imo.

Ok, well I'm sufficiently bothered by GCBC's deficiency of suspicion toward dramonic even without him saying anything. If there were two scum on varsoon's wagon, as we'd expect, then it has to be GCBC or dram (unless mac lucked out that I'm macho as a red herring), so I would think he'd be all for a dram lynch if he were town. He's avoiding the thread too.

I am more than fine with our lynch today. I understand our role is one that needs to be lynched at some-point since we will never die at night, and it's important for you all to HARD RESET. I would have liked to have lynched more scum before we went down, but I am not usually one to garner a whole lot of support behind my ideas.

I am not sure how close to lynch we are, but if anyone hammers before I get to analyze my wagon, consider it a scum-claim (or dumb-claim in the case of Jaqen).

Here is where we will start and I will work more when I am at a point to sit down for a longer period of time.

It BLOWS me away that we have a flipped cop who very will could have, and has suggested that they had a guilty on Muffin but we aren't lynching it because:

Meta: MOLLIE WOULDN'T DO THAT!
Role: IMA TRACKER WITH NINJA-SCUM GUYS!

Any one know why they call it a safe-claim? Because its safe.... go figure. If the mod gives scum a safe-claim tracker, its because the claim isn't going to be able to be caught by mass-claim! Don't even get me started with meta arguments...

I give about zero credence to the meta argument, but the role argument is not easy to ignore. The trouble with the flipped cop is not just that the supposed guilty is on our only true tracking role, but that we know lush had two investigations, yet it's entirely unclear what the second one was (unless it's guilty on AD, which only seems possible if AD is SK, which should be revisited if muffin flips scum down the line). I don't believe that lush's heads are all so terrible that they wouldn't clearly indicate their investigative results.

The fact that they didn't come out and say... hey guys, we are a cop and x, is guilty and y is innocent?

Posted: Tue Feb 04, 2014 3:01 am
by Kagami
They should have done something very similar to that, yes.

Instead, they still did enough to become worm-food while doubt remains regarding their guilty result, and it's completely unclear what their second result was. You really think that was optimal play?

Posted: Tue Feb 04, 2014 3:02 am
by Kagami
heck, if their first post was simply "So we talked last night, and given the flips, we've decided x is scum and y is probably innocent," that would be sufficient.

Also, I don't think dram is scum. Not only is there muffin's track supporting VTness, but also the CoK sheeped his varsoon vote within 15 minutes of his having made it.
