Reading through those Tales games made me even more sure that Murder is scum. We can do this. I have the conviction to push it through. I want you to trust me on this. I can tell that AP is scum. I can just tell and it's frustrating as fuck that no one was listening to me in Tales and no one besides Serra is listening to me here.

Ffery has me legitimately concerned. She's very clearly legitimately afraid of the consequences of mislynching F16 in our situation. The responsibility of to be right, and I know how this feels because I have been there in the past, is weighing her down, and she is devoting a TON of effort into being as holistic as possible on her F16 read (and reads in general). She is actually flustered about Boon's performance in this game and I think thats partly because she thinks if he were less terrible, we might be solving this game more readily.

Now I come into this thread. I'm putting on some fake confidence for 2 reasons.

A) Ffery also thinks F16 is sketchy and has said so throughout the game. She also has PoE reads resulting from Antihero/Egg/MS/Jesus reads that points to F16 being scum. I honest to god think she really believes this read but is too scared of being wrong to believe it herself.

B) I think she could use some confidence so I'm hoping maybe some from me will be shared with her and make her feel less stressed out about this game.

Now fast forward a little more time.

F16 is calling ffery scum and citing things that she is doing because she is feeling the responsibility of to be right in order to argue that she is somehow a scum mastermind with resolve of steel and I'm just here looney-tooning it up in a good-cop bad-cop routine.

I mean.

Are you seriously telling me that you can't see that this game is stressing ffery out such a ridiculous amount?

And you are actually using that to fuel an argument against her.

I'm not sure how to pull that apart because he's not scum here and I've seen how his read has progressed in our hydra convos. It started as about 80% paranoia. At this point we could both be up to our eyeballs in confbias, but it feels like everything you do could come from scum. Starting with my feeling that you're recasting everything I say into this manipulation narrative that Regfan started.

I think I understand why my play feels manipulative, but I really can't do anything about that but leave this game. Which I won't do until I'm dead.

So, there's four votes I can get AT MOST. I need to push through with all the conviction I have to drive the lynch through and get either Anti or Nacho to vote. I'm trying to remember what Nacho showed me on how to drive lynches through: all you need is persistence and conviction, and I'm taking those lessons to heart.

You are asking me if I would consider your reads. Your reads have been "F-16 is scum." Every other player, you are reading as town in some way. So you would be wrong. Scum would be in your townreads. And I'd figure it out from there.

I don't know. Depending on the NK I might push for nolynch tomorrow. It's something to consider.

Not really what I was looking for earlier though. But at that point we were talking at least hypothetically about who we'd vote if not each other. And washed up on the rocks because we disagree on Nacho and Egg.
