I think for daytalk to be the default we'd need to update all the wikis

I cant really imagine this would be a super controversial change, but maybr i'm wrong

I also dont know the process for how setups get updated (i imagine me unilaterally deciding to going in and editing everything is not the way to go abt this lol)

-Stop letting go of a solid scumread because they start scumreading me. I need to double down and BURN THEM TO ASHES.
-Memes. Where are my memes? Has anyone seen my memes? I don't know where have all the good memes gone
-Force Datisi into making a reads triangle for everyone's enjoyment. No but's allowed.
-Roll more power roles instead of VT. That would allow me to go 'SEE? I'M TOWN YOU FUCKERS, YOU ARE ALL TERRIBLE FOR SCUMREADING ME AND SHOULD QUIT THIS GAME NOWWW', while secretly acknowledging it's actually my own fault. I'd never admit that in game obviously.

Sure. Anyway I told SirCakez that since it wasn't specified in this set-up, the way he chose to handle it was the way to go. I think him changing his mind mid-game would have put undue mod influence onto the game. I think deciding on what to do with set-ups that don't specify these things is an important conversation to have. The default is mod discretion, but maybe it's worth deciding something more concrete? I don't know.

The open group is discussing this on the MS Discord. If you want to be looped in, send me a message and I'll add you to the group. It's not really a secret group with discrete membership, anyone who wants to improve open setups on MS is welcome to join.

My initial thoughts are that in the future these things are going to be disclosed 100% by default, but there are decisions to be made as to what needs to be explicit and what can be left up to mod preference.

I think things like this should be disclosed in pre-game so the situation is just avoided.
This is why I added my rule about setup questions needing to be PMed. Deciding whether to answer things like this or not is always risky, because then like T-Bone said it might be too much mod influence. That's why I try to lean toward not answering things.

- SK's suck (implosion you rock. but your role sucked)
- running a closed setup in the open queue sucks (sorry Cakez ily but that was the wrong call. Any decision you have to make after the game starts is mod influence; the only way to avoid it is to decide this stuff ahead of time. Much better to disclose stuff given that it's an open setup. Also, having a rule that you will only answer questions by PM is very annoying when it's an open setup, because all the answers you can give should be public info anyway.)
- this setup sucks. not just because it has an SK; it's kinda stupidly swingy. I guess it's a ++ setup, so what was I really hoping for
- the plist was fire, except for not_mafia (sorry for the callout but, like, come on man)
- I must read Datisi's notes PT post haste
