My bad.
I don't really agree with that Enchant, and here's what I mean.
I'm just assuming roles for talking about theory here. Say VP scum, Dwlee Town, I'm Town.
So I scumread Dwlee, they scum read me, and we both get put into a group of experts to solve the bomb. Had VP given the wrong information as scum, likely resulting in both me and Dwlee hard tunneling into each other, which to me is often beneficial towards scum. In fact, its a play I've been a part of to turn townies against each other.

i recognize that the chances are objectively better in the hood but my confidence level that i'll get it right is low and i don't really want to chain 3 elims to get there

But you ready to take chain in 7?
Here we go.

Oh gosh.
VP-scum already have 50% wincon, and he decides to risk ass and explode Simple Doctor claim of which probably will be disbelieved?
Of course.

Of course.
But does it not seem like they wouldn't have a good reason to do that?

Of course, wine, here we go again.
Well my counterargument:

I don't know why I even explained this then.

I don't feel good at how easy it is to eliminate SM. But that's all I got.
Their emotions seem a little off.
Their hestiation and doubt also seems a little. Compare Dwlee's check of Baltar before going for SM compared to the other way around.
I don't think the third on the wagon thing is much of anything. Because that's more of a silly thing than something you scum read someone else for.
What is Baltar doing here btw, rather, which one does he think is scum?

Also, did Cephrir ever make an argument as to why Baltar killing Andre was advantageous for scum them beyon just "hey Baltar is the most active and hasn't made any obvious mistakes and they're he least suspected of the three going in"
Or was that all?

Meh, I've just kinda given up trying too hard to defend myself, because it literally will never change anything, especially as often I get horribly misread as Town like what Lukewarm said.

Learning how to survive as either alignment is a skill too.

he kind of can't survive to endgame arguably so it could potentially make sense for him to make a sacrifice play

Do you think I haven't tried learning that past? Do you know how much its actually worked? Never. Not. Once. It doesn't matter anymore.

i agree that strange is the scummiest of the three but deep down i just don't quite believe that's what's happening. the play makes more sense from someone going for a 3-for-1 or a 5-for-1

Don't be silly.

Why not just flip VP first, you could probably argue everyone in both hoods was town if VP flipped town, but I don't see a world in which VP flipstown

also, and this part is key, i might die before i have to solve it

Why is VP scum?

cause town VP means there's 2 hoods where a VP bomb was correctly solved. and like, Pooky had every excuse in the books to kill VP night 1 if he wanted to, and we'd have been like "yeah makes sense"

VP isn't town.
