Given that it's my setup I think I should be the one who gets the final say in what it shall be called. >.>

Well done, you get 100 Maturity Points for your fantastic self-awareness.

Round up some people to scumchat and we'll test it there, if you like. Otherwise, that might be a little tricky. It's hard to get a scumchat game going these days.

I don't like DethyBlocker (or whatever it's called), but I do like it better than straight Dethy. I don't think it does as much to encourage the day game as Artem does, though.

Alternating C9
is probably not horribly broken, since it's a melting pot of the usual C9 setups. Not sure it's all that normal, but whatev.

Three Blind Cops
is probably too swingy for actually satisfying play.

:edit:
Shanba: Sure, that's what I meant. I might be in scumchat tonight for a bit...

I like this setup, a lot. I considered something like this, but my antipathy for info roles has reached such a noxious point that I'm wary of even roleblockers, these days.

I think AC9 should have a name relating to the Odds/Even game its obviously based on.(I aslso think its worse that Odds/Evens)

Vengeful without the Vengeful

2 Scum

1 Twilight Vig
2 Townies
Nightless

Twilight Vig PMs the mod during twilight and can kill even if lynched that day.

Regarding some of the other setups, there is one thing I need to know to voice my opinion:
What is a Hans?

I don't like the compulsory kill for mafia. Withholding a kill may be a valid tactic.

This setup needs a name.

Also, is it balanced?
Alternating C9
AC9/DC9.
This game was done I believe with 2 less vanilla and called even/odd C9. I will get the link.

Smalltown is not a specific setup, as far as I know.

Fixed.
It's also not normal

A specific Smalltown setup
could
qualify as a semi-open normal.

I don't think Guppy understands how the Open queue works, though.

Well if that's the case I'll put out a template for a Smalltown set up using only "standard" roles:

8 town, 3 mafia, 1 SK (thought 9:3 could also be nice to play with, or maybe even 8:2:2?)

1-vanilla
1-suicide vig
2-anytime masons
1-tracker
1-jailkeeper
1-double voter
1-roleblocker
1-bus driver
1-hider (dies with mafia only)
1-motivator
1-watcher

That can be remedied easily.
I know, I know, bureaucracy keeps the bad element from exacting their will when they probably shouldn't. Still, I've got characters, plot, and setting all ready and rearing to go. What should I do?

Sign up for the mini theme or large theme queue

Yeah, that.
The open queue's not really designed for the kind of game you're proposing. It's designed for ordinary setups that usual have one or two semi-unique things in them. Also, open game mods usually don't get to choose which game they mod. The best thing to do is what dahill said.

Suck/good? Yes, no, maybe?

Texas Justice shouldn't be run again as-is. It shouldn't have been run here in the first place. I though everyone understood after the original games that it was broken, but I guess it's been long enough that people had forgotten.
