And that's exactly how I feel about my own markers for his town and scum games.

Re Aronis you missed the most explicit posts about his day 1 reasons. They were in an exchange with SSK about him.

It's about the timing and tempo of the game. Bert, I think you can see it even though you don't like the lack of walling about it. Cabd was basically calling the wagons on day 2. People followed and let him because of the timing. And maybe because he was bleeding vig tells and had been bleeding them basically since his first post of the game where he said his votes counted 3 times as much as anyone else's. That kind of assertiveness is often a PR tell and it affects the game state whether the player crumbs or not.

In reading nacho, I have to keep in mind that I have a fear/bias about mislynching town-him that seems to outweigh fear of not lynching scum-him on a minute-to-minute, day-to-day basis. When I'm unsure, it's a decision I put off hoping for more data.

Up until this game day, that has been a factor. The main reason I wouldn't call him scum was what I've said a couple times. I think if he were scum he'd put more effort into looking town and doing town stuff. Paradoxical.

After our interactions this weekend, I still feel there's something missing, but maybe it would only come out in his play en extremis right now. Not going to say specifically what I'm not seeing because I am hoping this game is another data point indicating I have made some good adjustments in how I read him. And I don't want the magic missing thing(s) to start showing up in games because I'm expecting it.

Town still townslips, but I'm not weighing that sort of thing as heavily as I once did. I've seen towns lose for it, including my towns.

Read hasn't changed. Of your neighborhood you've looked the most town to me since at least late day 1. Yeah you're scary-good at looking town when you're scum and I may not be any better at seeing through it, but your neighborhood does box off part of the game as a separate mini-solution.
