• Investigate s_s's reads list format. Ask Cabd if he usually formats them this way. I don't remember seeing anything like this the last time I meta'd him.

I expect him to out what's going on with his neighborhood/role pretty quickly on day 2 since he said our dethy needed to resolve first. Push him on this if it doesn't happen, but if he says it's premature I'd take him at his word unless he really starts throwing his weight around in the event I'm dead. I feel like I've kinda been low-key keeping him from running the game if that's what he wanted to do. OTOH I don't think he was trying to shut me down at all (nor I him) or try to spin narratives for me, and I feel like he'd do at least a little of that if he's scum.

Also planning to set up an "apologies here" booth regarding the pushback on some of my reads.

No you are right about alisae not being involved and I was teetering between the push on Jake being for show to look like scumhunting or actually trying to get rvs. Everything about their early posting felt forced and scummy.

I sat on the because I a) have stopped scumhunting in the early game unless something just hits me because I can’t tell the difference between scum trying to look like they’re scumhunting and town trying to get the game started. I often pick the town person to prod at and sometimes end up in a shitshow and I’m not about that life anymore, and observation feels better. And B) they could just not have been having a good day and/or didn’t want to play mafia at the time but forced themselves to because they felt obligated which happens

So yeah the first couple times I thought their posting was scummy but the last time felt fine.

The format. I don't really have an issue with the reads, themselves. Though I thought it was interesting that he had tayl0r as scum but had the rest of the dethy as mild townreads. I don't remember seeing him format a reads list this way in the games I meta'd. From what I saw, he generally leaves out nulls and just posts about who he's townreading and who he's scumreading. Cabd mentioned a new s_s meta tell during this game, though, so he's done more recent meta-ing than I have.

I think we should all target the same player on N2 for calibration purposes, but I'm probably not thinking deeply enough. Maybe there's a good argument for spreading out? the naive and paranoid should continue to get results like they did n1. the insane and sane could get different results if they investigate scum.

What's the rationale behind each player's approach inside of the QT versus out of it?

This is an example of the sorts of disconnects I keep having with bell. He refers back to a post without context and I can't tell if it's my most recent post or something earlier, or if it's a reference to a post I didn't make. In this case I think he asking me if his post about the dethy composition was accurate, and then he went off on an analysis of whether the odds of hitting scum were better, generically, by eliming within the dethy versus outside of it.

Maybe it's a me issue? I had no idea that he was trying to confirm something we'd already posted about what a dethy is.

I didn't like the second one because he's been interacting with you the most in the game, or at least it feels like it. It seems like he thinks you're town as in the way he's behaving felt that way. He says he wants to town bloc with you, he wants you to answer his questions (I'm thinking about with cabd here), and yet he says to you that he won't get anything done if he answers all the question asked of him.

He feels disconnected from the game and from himself. He has to know the way he's interacting isn't ever going to be conducive to getting anything done in a game. He responds to things as if he's quoting them, and much like TaylOr swift, though definitely not that bad, just feels like his posts are hitting the thread at random with no direction or meaning.

Bell has me absolutely confused.

so unfortunately I can't really be of help on bell because I don't understand a thing he's doing, nor can I figure out a view point to try to understand him through.

This reads like he thinks Alisae attacked midway, not Jake. Midway and alisae did go back and forth on Alisae's Jake push, but midway was the aggressive one in that convo, not Alisae.

What I find super weird about this interaction is that this is the post that causes Diamond Sentinel to start giving reads on us which he then stays somewhat fixated on for the rest of the day. I'm not exactly sure why I find it so odd but it is. I thought that DS had just stayed on us but he did branch out some so IDK.
