I don't think a me-focused day one is always the healthiest way a game can proceed. Especially in a player list of this caliber. Especially-especially in a normal/open as opposed to a theme.

I mean, hell, Skitter and Elements have yet to get a single post in.

I'm probably going to hold some things a little closer to my chest than normal too, so prepare your hive-rash treatment gel as required.

Often times when ffery and myself are in a list and not a hydra together, day one becomes completely dominated by our posting and prodding at each other, an eternal arms race between us that's been going on seven years now.

We both semi-unretired this year. none of the games that have take place in 2020 have had a version of that dance that I would consider healthy for this player list, nor the kind of play I want to be having this game. It's not that I can't dance with her and spam it up. It's that I won't. I want to enjoy players like Prism that see a 150 page day one and nope the fuck out.

nope p much that, esp. since i deeply empathize with that and have tried to do just myself in many games as town
(um i'm not always super successful at it, but i try ...)

and think it's more likely to come from town who wants to let the game breathe, as scum who is *capable* of hyperposting is probalby more inclined to do so in order to control the narrative earlier

Vax's entrance is #121-#128. They had one more post in #149 to try a wagon vote on ffery. Elements voted them in #150.

This timeline makes me tilt my head. When you said "entrance" did you mean strictly the first 1/2 posts, only for the next 3/4 to be better?

vax ( i mean this in the nicest possible way) had a bit of a gross entrance and kinda reads like flipbait ... which elements then kinda tried to actualize in a way that i imagine scum would try to do if he is indeed town

like it's a lazy vote in an icky readslist and i like exactly none of it
