The big problem with not lynching into the dichotomy today is that we need to make sure we lynch correctly today, and a 50/50 is better than the odds of lynching into the non-dichotomy pool.

Additionally, if Mom is scum and there's only one other scum in the game, we'll win if we lynch Mom today and mislynch someone else before his partner, but not vice versa.
