how do you distinguish between a white knight and just me townreading you
May I ask about this?In post 389, DrippingGoofball wrote:Kyouko is my strongest town read.
tbh I think Pooky is slightly towny rnIn post 398, ssbm_Kyouko wrote:House truly null, Gamma and Pooky in null because they've both done things that are lightly towny and lightly scummy, and to me they feel balanced out.
Chinese fire drill/flash wagon? In post 399, rousseau wrote:what is the word for when everyone simultaneously wheels on infinity and it feels orchestrated but the individuals don't feel like mafia

too hard to make sense of even with the big magnifying glassIn post 404, Gamma Emerald wrote:Chinese fire drill/flash wagon? In post 399, rousseau wrote:what is the word for when everyone simultaneously wheels on infinity and it feels orchestrated but the individuals don't feel like mafia
What do you think of this part of 308 re: Infinity's push on Skitter? In post 403, Gamma Emerald wrote:tbh I think Pooky is slightly towny rnIn post 398, ssbm_Kyouko wrote:House truly null, Gamma and Pooky in null because they've both done things that are lightly towny and lightly scummy, and to me they feel balanced out.
I'm also curious though, as to why Pooky seems townie to youIn post 398, ssbm_Kyouko wrote:In Infinity's discussion with skitter, I really felt like I was being white knighted at first. I didnt say anything because I wanted to see how long it would go on, and it seemed to me that any push on skitter there was heavily tied to defending me. I'm going to reread this and see what I think today though.
i don’t feel that this is a particularly rare occurrence? i can think of two times off the top of my head where there was something scummy that happened that town all jumped on at the same time, and both times it /was/ on mafiaIn post 406, rousseau wrote:too hard to make sense of even with the big magnifying glassIn post 404, Gamma Emerald wrote:Chinese fire drill/flash wagon? In post 399, rousseau wrote:what is the word for when everyone simultaneously wheels on infinity and it feels orchestrated but the individuals don't feel like mafia
like sure drippinggoofball + one of wheelers likely skitter partners if skitter mafia? but eh
if infinity mafia wheelers likely town
it just, like, everyone appeared from disparate places to scumread infinity at approximately the same time and other than tetrina also put effort into those scumreads and it does not feel particularly like that's just how things happen ya know

it didn't feel like that to me thoughIn post 413, Ydrasse wrote:i don’t feel that this is a particularly rare occurrence? i can think of two times off the top of my head where there was something scummy that happened that town all jumped on at the same time, and both times it /was/ on mafia
i am trying to say it felt like the bottom one not the top one (which is the situation i think you were describing)In post 416, rousseau wrote:like 'scummy thing happens! we will vote infinity for scummy thing!'
it felt like
'i am now scumreading infinity because...'
'i am now scumreading infinity because...'
'i am also scumreading infinity because...'
you think all of your reasonings align? In post 418, Ydrasse wrote:if the latter is the result of the first i don’t see a difference in the situations
White knighting is used to counterattack skitter here. Essentially the same words could be used to TR me in a different context, where I'm not being pushed by skitter, and that's the distinction. It's because it's tied into your push on skitter who was pushing me at the time. You were using a defense of me in your push on skitter, rather than just explaining a TR on me. It's the context of the words that distinguishes the wk from the trIn post 414, Infinity 324 wrote:@ssbmIn post 400, Infinity 324 wrote:how do you distinguish between a white knight and just me townreading you
i guess maybe only the main participants were being considered when i said individually not scummy; drippinggoofball's 'excessively conciliatory' post also noteworthy and would not classify it as suchIn post 422, Ydrasse wrote:if you think all of us are individually not-scummy, do you take issue with the reasons we all have even if they aren’t the same?
