She obviously thought it would have a large impact on the game...that's why she did it...?

sorry for thinking people who cheat should be punished. YMMV on that it seems.

but keep talking about how voting for people who you have a scumread on is "meta bashing", whatever the fuck that means.

"oh i can't see how you could get a scumread so therefore it must be just cuntish behaviour"

(and yes not cheating, wrong word. the mods should have stopped it though given what kanye said about the copy+paste beforehand)

Well I didn't mind too much. It was called AtE.

More annoying was that the scum was ridiculously overpowered. SK was just about right.

the sk definitely had an uphill struggle. re-direcotr/roleblocker/fbi agent - any of those targeting the SK basically ends the game for it? + lack of anything to claim iirc? well she did have a 1-shot ability theif type role? uphill struggle but that's what you'd expect for an SK so it's fine.

i think the scum role synergy was pretty strong (bookie + governor = ++) and the re-director role is a bad one when the player isn't informed (and basically bastard IMO). town maybe could have used a stronger role or two? but I think town had a lot of obvious town roles that when claimed made them very hard to lynch.

Town had power. Just that true to Gay Mafia tradition, scum managed to out them

Yeah, we were pretty OP, especially given that we were lucky and recruited SlumberPartyBois N1 due to DeltaWave's action (lol). But we had pretty poor organization and lots of infighting, so we didn't make very good use of our Governor ability, and our Bookie of course died D1.

...

We had a cop guilty D2. So we outed

If the vig claimed, SK would have been lynched and 2 town would die every night there-after. and one night 3 would die.

I think it was literally immpossible for scum not to find all the roles.

Yep.

Scum role synergy was def. strong, but I don't think it's bastard to say "Your target" instead of "PLAYERNAME" when giving results.

Looking back on it we probably just should've made the vengelovers masons and the balance would've been fine (well, and limit the scum gov)

Reading the hydra QT was EXTREMELY disquieting, and my vibe from the thread was that you were a little embarrassed of it before Wyrd flipped scum.

I mean, I seriously expected some kind of scum shenanigans somewhere in that whole mess, and that was AS SCUM.

Made my job easy, though. ;)

i'm not sure what town power scum outed? the cop coming out with the guilty seems reasonable play. i don't remember them power wagoning and getting lots of claims early game? dreaming god cc'd

and the hydra qt which I couldn't have expected to be posted in thread being posted in thread certainly change things. you tailor your posts to the audience and it's not a post i'd ever suggest in thread, because it's dumb and anti town. it's nothing to do with "meta-bashing" (which I still don't have a clue what that means, I assume it's "lynching people you dislike"? but that seems dumb). i was really annoyed it was posted to the point i wanted to replace out for a bit but figured i'd just defend myself and look obvtown.

not easy enough to win! justice prevailed, in the end. at least i can be thankful of that.

I just meant "bullying." Meta as in "beyond [the game]," not as in "meta aspects of playstyle."

no, that's retarded I like fate?

Though my read was more that some influential people decided to be assholes and the others kind of went along with it due to the gravitas.

Yes yes yes it's part of the game and it's totally fine and Wyrd was indeed scum, but it made me very uncomfortable to read it.

yeah how dare we get scumreads and try to force a lynch through on someone. that's not some out of game bullying conspiracy. their late entrance (while posting elsewhere) + fate's first post felt awkward so we wagoned them. you're just reading way too much into it.

i wanted fate and nuwen modkilld/force replaced for other reasons. is that okay?

since we're talking about Fate

It annoyed the unending dog piss out of my mancock that Zoidberg thought I wouldn't lynch Fate as part of some "fan club" or whatever

Sure, he was scum, but the point I was making was that ScumFate is usually harder to pick off on Day 1. I myself rarely have a read on the guy first day. And he's pretty much never going to be the Day 1 lynch, regardless of his alignment. I've pushed wagon on scumfate before. I've called his bluff during gambits. But none of this ever happened the first day.

I'd say the same about DGB, some players are extremely hard to lynch. And players that don't lynch easily generally don't get lynched on Day 1.

it's not really a personality problem at all, so I don't think this is a private matter. But the total disregard you two (especially fate i guess) had for the fact you were a HYDRA and not two people really bothered me. Even after you had been warned. And it's not like it was a MISTAKE either, Fate acknowledged he was posting on his personal account and basically said "fuck it." It was just inconvenient for you. Which sucks for the game. If you're going to be a hydra, be a hydra.

Fate had FORTY-ONE posts this game. This is just one of those posts:

Fate wrote:I'm not switching back accounts to point out how that post proves everything I've been saying

kuribo, i don't deny this is true, but does it need to be said during the game? does that really help anything?
