Ha. My customer no-showed and it looks like I had plenty of time. All quotes are Andy from above
Let me preface with- I chose to not read flavor posts for this game because it usually confuses more than it helps. I've also never played Xenogears, though it does look intriguing. I am working off player generated information ONLY.
Dude you read waaaaaay too deep into things.
Nacho said "why can't you be scum / i wanted to lynch you so badly"
I said "I know the feel. But the guy I'm attached to I'll never be able to lynch. :/"
That guy I mentioned? Nacho.
<3 him and all but skillcap required to lynch scumcho is way above me.
If I were a neighbor/mason you wouldn't see me being jealous of neighbors.
I know you were talking about Nacho, I implied as much, and agreed you couldn't lynch him because that would bring your scum team down to one. So, it basically sounds like you accept that point, if only from a different point of view.
I am Shulk, Colonist-Aligned 3-Shot JOAT.
Now it's three shots? You said you used your ONE shot and then your sword broke. Also, if you're town after all (still not feeling it, but yeah) i hope this isn't a direct quote. Of course, if you aren't town I'm sure that quote is perfectly fine (not a fan of gaming, but when it presents itself).
As to who can wield the Tomato, again, I never played Xenogears so I have no clue.
I definitely think there's another protective role in this game but assuming that this statement is false in every game is bound to get you in trouble.
You're absolutely right, but I die if I use it successfully. Why do you think I was on about GiF and it being ok for her to come out as other Cop if she had reads? Hmmm...... Good job having me give that up, but you get nothing more by hitting me than you would by hitting anyone else at least
False- you just admitted you didn't actually do any reading.
And I also admitted I was gambiting so you could "correct" me, thereby CONFIRMING my suspicions. Which you did. Please don't leave out that tidbit.
As town you crumb your role.
As scum it varies based on what's going on.
And, I see you crumbing more than just town. I know that's simple.
...I may be dumb and thick and unobservant at times, but crumbing your scumbuddies is just plain moronic and something I have never done.
Ok. I have to concede that one.
Confirmation he thinks I'm red.
And given I blew that out of the water earlier I'm town.
Gotta ponder that one though.
...you really don't get this whole NACHOLOVE/ANDYLOVE do you
Probably better than you think...
2) RedScum fakeclaimng JoaT Andy doesn't work because then I'd only have one kill which blows his KILL BOTH PEOPLE argument out of the water
SK one, team kill the other. Not that hard is it?
3) There are no unaccounted for extra kills
And SK can't be one shot why?
Oh.
And if spinach is indeed blue you can bet anything I'll be dead tomorrow.
Because he still thinks I'm scum.
That's a really nice looking frame there. What art supply store did that come from?
Now, I will go through your games this evening. If you want Blue scum, you're gonna have to hit MS for that.

Got some 'splainin' to do Lucy. Where did you "blow it out of the water" that you can't be red. I sure didn't see that. I saw you try to, but for me you just went straight up and straight back down. Into the water.

Doesn't that three shot means that he had one shot for each of his ability?

If you can link me to be game, ONE, where you threw your hands up in the air and said "Good job, you found scum" where you had one mosquito bugging you and the rest of the town didn't seem to be buying it, I'll drop my whole case on you. Otherwise, I'll read the games you linked tonight as promised..
Your turn
Pedit- I read that as 3 kill shots, but I suppose it cou,d be as you said too GiF.

@GiF And you're a guy, sorry for calling you "she". Your old Avi comes to mind when I think of you.

MACHO
Mafia don't get SK kills.
SK as secret kill. I've been in two games where scum get a one shot on this.
I am Shulk, Colonist-Aligned 3-Shot JOAT.
So how am I crumbing both town and scum roles when, as you say, I'm not a JoaT? So I'm doing extra lying faking scum actions (which makes no sense).
Making note of a question I need to research and get back to later
You know if you actually think I'm scum you could just shoot me tonight.
Nope. Try again. Would be much easier with the first word of this post.
I don't understand how this is so hard for you to understand.
Other site meta, but it probably wasn't as rigorously balanced as it is here. But, don't read this as me all of a sudden believing your JoaT claim. Just how I could see JoaT, in principle, differently
Enlighten me as to how this was a gambit.
Really hate doing this, because it means it'll be hard to use again. By saying I dove you and that you crumb town regardless of alignment and scum as wel when scum, it leaves you with 3 choices. Point out town games where you crumb scum. Call me out and make me provide examples. Concede the point. You conceded the point, but went on to say you crumbed no scum here. Now it's my job to find something other than Mollie/cabd to hilight. I saw so etching on my first go through of your ISO. Lets see if it still pings with all this new info. I'll dig later.
A Serial Killer works alone.
I've seen one shot secret kill scum on a team before. Again, not here so I would like opinions other than yours on this.
Not gonna lie I have much disappointment when I drop a wall and I get a couple posts in response.
Sorry to disappoint, but short and to the point leaves less room for misunderstandings. If you have key points I didn't address, please point them out and I will.
Your turn again.

The point is I see town crumbs and scum crumbs from you this game. And, I thought I was pretty plain but maybe this will be plainer. I have a Macho role.

Ok I found it.
I see crumbs.
You see alignment crumbs.
I think we're at a disconnect here.
Explain what you mean by both because, to me, there only exists breadcrumbs. Which, like anything, can be used for good or evil.

Heh. Read my role again. Guess it would be more accurate to say macho bodyguard Gadolt. Better?
Pediatric. I'll get on that when I get home. Finally time to leave and I'm not giving the an excuse to hold me over.

Soooo you're giving me crap for not being dead.
Who've you been targeting the past four nights while still managing to be alive?

Also why the sudden urge to claim?
Posted: Mon Jun 24, 2013 12:33 pm
by spinachattack
Yes
N1 nobody
N2-3 GiF
N4- ironically, you
Because the question you asked couldn't be answered any other way and with lynch or lose my role no longer matters, just my alignment

With 8 in the game, a mislynch will either lead to 3-3 with no crosskills and one NK or 2-3 town minority with no crosskills and 2 town NK or 3-2 with with one crosskills and town NK. The third seems farfetched because N6 would be optimal for crosskills when compared to the other two routes, when looked at from scum perspective.
Posted: Mon Jun 24, 2013 12:50 pm
by Andrius
Is there any particular reason you didn't protect N1?
...how do you know this is LyLo?
You're assuming no crosskills when this is really the night to do it.
Blue especially.
Posted: Mon Jun 24, 2013 1:08 pm
by spinachattack
Yeah- I saw no good options to off myself for.
I can't be 100% for sure it's LyLo because I can't read minds, but when it looks like it is that's what you should assume in your play, yes?
The best night for Blue to crosskill would be N6 and would leave a 1-1-1 stalemate or co-win situation, assuming blue isn't lynched/otherwise killed before then. Of course, Blue could be eliminated today if we can find it, buy town another day by eliminating a NK, and leave a 3-2 town favorable condition for D6.
The only 2 Blue candidates I see are MS (strong) or SAD (very weak imo) just because he was pushing red lynch so hard. The rest of his posts come across town motivated if you isolate them and read them with fresh eyes.

Still don't see how its a gambit.
Generally gambits are useful.
The only way I see this being a gambit is you getting out of actually reading my games, so you said you did, so its a 'gambit' in the sense you're trying to get by without reading while pretending you did.
That's what I get from all of this.
Because then all I would have to do to prove, once and for all, that you're scum is to ISO you and find one other situation aside from the Mollie/cabd one. By doing the actual work, it would lead to a huge point/counterpoint wherein the actual content would be burried and muddled. About all you can do now if I can find something is say bullshit and hope the rest of the game agrees with you.

I still don't understand this town/scumcrumbing idea.
Its called breadcrumbing- leaving tips of your role for others to find. There is no 'towncrumb' and 'scumcrumb', there is just the act of breadcrumbing and the motivations behind it.
I'm not sure to what heresy you worship, but in the Holy Church of Breadcrumbers there is no towncrumb and scumcrumb. All breadcrumbs are created equal under the eyes of the law, and only the motivations behind their creation are town or scummy.
So tell me- where is the scum motivation in broadcasting night actions before they happen?
Or alternatively- where is the scum motivation in broadcasting fake night actions before they happen?
There is none.
Same as there is no "scumcrumbing" or "towncrumbing".
So what I'm getting from you is that there is some scummotivation behind my breadcrumbing (and since you choose to overlook any and all town motivations for anything I do) you label the entirety of the breadcrumbs as these heretical 'scumcrumbs'.
Still don't see how its a gambit.

Here you are again, so tunnelminded into the ANDY CAN PROTECT TWO PEOPLE WHAT IS THIS SORCERY and ANDY CAN KILL TWO PEOPLE WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT
The simplest explanation is that I was merely lamenting their loss. (Which, I was.) I breadcrumbed the protect on Nacho, scum probably saw it and steered clear from Nacho. Done. CANT SAVE ALL THE TOWNIES
So what exactly are you looking for, again? An instance of me lamenting the loss of townies who I didn't protect?
