I'm having a battle with myself and the roles before alignments vs are there really this many flipping roleblockers on the town team?
What brought you around?
I would post an image but I think the general reaction has pretty much all been covered here. Even though I can't actually argue with it personally, it's blatantly stupid. In post 4145, Garruk Relentless wrote:I don't even know where to go with 4132. Like, what?
But my theory is that all the town players or all players have 3 abilities. All the full claims so far have fit this mold. The fact you claim to only have one ability is suspicious.
It depends, do you think they're town? As I have expressed multiple times I don't think we should be taking these things into account. In post 4175, Tammy wrote:I'm having a battle with myself and the roles before alignments vs are there really this many flipping roleblockers on the town team?
Yes?In post 4173, Shadoweh wrote:*peers suspiciously @ tierce*
I know, it's what I've been arguing since day one, but there's a rabbit hole there filled with nice shiny things and if my descent into madness over shadoweh day one is any indication, shiny is shiny and oh look!In post 4177, Cephrir wrote:It depends, do you think they're town? Why couldn't you suspect her of being regular faction scum?In post 4048, PrideandJoy wrote:I will note now and save for later the fact that our role is in complete opposition to your claimed one. I.e., the utility of ours is negated by yours. in the same way a role copier / role mimic clashes with a vanillizer. If there happens to be a third party SK-like faction, I would be suspecting you. however, it'd be too much if you were scum (and a scum-role kill modifier like that would have been used on someone other than Katsuki). In post 4040, Shadoweh wrote:Yes, I knew ahead of time that the 'redirecting' I was referring to being referenced to in my role pm was 'cannot be redirected or blocked'. At least two people have claimed the global rb thing happenbed though. In post 4005, SafetyDance wrote: Can't believe people are having a go at Shadoweh for killing Katsuki. Not only are you applying hindsight and not offering an alternative opinion as to what you would have done, She said she would do it, where was the disagreement then? Shad, did you know it would go over the global roleblock? Can anyone confirm (by receiving the Titus investigation message or lack of action going through) that what Titus claimed actually happened? Have to wait for her to appear now.
I don't really think global rb that stops all scum kills couldn't be a scum role though, it's been done before (I think Faraday even had the role) :V The roleblock on the kill is pretty good evidence.

Who are your actual scum reads? And why aren't you actually trying to figure out this game?In post 4101, elleheathen wrote:Gotta have the luck to be able to do that, G.

Yes and no. Personally I just want to see the damn things, except now that I know they only go up to page 30 I'm not as excited as I was.In post 4187, Tammy wrote:But I hate hate hate that Titus wants to prove herself by posting pics of her notes.
Elleheathen and prideandjoy are my top two picks. In post 4084, Nautilius wrote:elleheathen
Garuk Relentless (Natarisha/MafiaSSK)
Goat on a Raft (Channeldelibird/AurorusVox)
Messiah Complex (Desperado/Formerfish)
Prideandjoy(chesskid3/ActionDan)
Here's the current remaining list. I know Alchemist is missing and that might blow your mind but he doesn't really feel that much like scum.
It's the mindset that bothers me. "Let me prove to you I've been reading."In post 4189, Cephrir wrote:Yes and no. I have to agree with you on that mindset. But also, posting notes means nothing. They're easy to make up. Pick a random post say that it's scummy or town-like. Repeat a few times. It's not a town-tell or a scumtell. In post 4191, Tammy wrote:It's the mindset that bothers me. "Let me prove to you I've been reading."In post 4189, Cephrir wrote:Yes and no. I've definitely seen town post their notes before, but this kind of urgent let me prove I'm reading is twitchy.
How? Once again, I note how they can be faked. But even if they're not faked, they can be so devoid of verbs or adjectives that there's no way you could see into it at all. Sometimes mine consist of "Cephrir 4194 down". Literally. In post 4194, Cephrir wrote:As you may have noticed already in this thread, I like to read into notes. I agree with Kanye (with like the tiniest reservations of paranoia but nothing more than post-day-three Tammy syndrome)In post 4015, Alfred Borden wrote:Ok, so the PoE work I was doing basically led to these dudes being included in the town bloc I had proposed:
kanye
ooba
AGar (want to talk to Nacho and ooba about this one though)
Benmage
Tierce
Tammy
SafetyDance (post quadz flip addition off the top of my head)
Shadoweh
Nowhere near enough to narrow things down significantly but with a second scum flip, this should be pretty easy.
That's exactly the sort of thing I dislike! In post 4195, Garruk Relentless wrote:How? Once again, I note how they can be faked.
