yeah it would be rude but if scum got a gun it's gating their ability to act

as I see it there's 3 "ways" the guns could function
1) the guns work as described, not rude or bastardly
2) the guns fire blanks, rude but not bastardly, and has the added side effect of gimping any scum who got one
3) the guns have some additional fuckery like being able to backfire, which with the fact the guns are compulsive would end up in bastard modding territory for me

this is true, but I think that'll have to be assessed tomorrow. As-is, I think all but 1 of the gunners are on the level in terms of having gotten the same thing, so if we think someone straight-up lied about getting one I know where my eyes would turn.

I'm trying to figure out who makes sense as partners to try and create a sort of heat map to try to ensure one scum gets hit across today and tonight
I've got some decent stuff to go on for like every slot except skitter and galron who could potentially be scum with most/all of the slots I'm including in this thing
although I feel like skitter + pooky makes absolutely no sense as a scum team because of in-thread interactions and how out of sync they would be

I mean the notification PM makes it quite clear this is not automatic one shot vig territory

That...is valid. I noted skitter was pretty mum about the subject, though I already disbelieve that she’s partnered with you because of some of your in-thread interactions just not making sense as stuff that would probably go in a scum PT instead.

But like, Galron and I think Cephrir both said essentially the same thing, which was “that seems overpowered but I’ll believe you on that”. I definitely feel like Galron would’ve responded differently or taken more time to respond if he were scum partnered with a gunner. Cephrir too but his only possible partner is a gunner and he wasn’t the one I was directly talking to when I claimed what I did.

I meant it when I said I had asked the mod about it, the only lie was that I inverted the answer I was given. Obviously I'm not gonna scumread myself, so in turn I have no reason to think anyone with a gun wouldn't be unafraid to come forth with some sort of refutation if they checked that point. People without a gun wouldn't be privy to the same things I was without being scum, so you're right on that front.
