I wish Vedith was a player who I have ever seen actually post things worth reading as town, because that'd make it a lot easier to have any faith in his ability to read him. in my experience with Vedith (including this game) he obvtowns as town, but a lot of his posts and reads are just incomprehensible and he's usually only correct via coincidence.

(my experience with Vedith also includes a game where I was scum, he hard town read me the entire game and eventually misvoted in LYLO, so that's a pretty huge part of why I assess his play the way I do. yes, he said he had never seen me-scum before...)

i used his townread on dunn to carry last micro dance game because i had no idea what to make of dunn, but on the other hand the mafia were so mafia they pretty much claimed scum in every post
sickofit literally asked parama who they were nightkilling in their lovers pt (scumSick, townParama)

I'm looking through that and son of a bitch. Vedith's initial scum read on their slot for MDS's posts came for reasoning that I can't understand at all, but then when Jester started posting Vedith's read on him actually seemed OK (not the kind of thing I imagine I would notice if I was actually in the game, but it does seem OK in hindsight), and he called out Jester hiding from him pretty much immediately. the other thing I see is that Jester's reaction to being called out for that was... nothing, which is in complete contrast to here (might not mean much because hydra slot, but even if he was in a hydra and had the ability to fake the posts he would have faked in this game if he is scum in response to being called out for his activity, why *not* do it there too?).

I fucking hate this game.

i think parama/arthur cross-bussing each other isn't even unlikely at this point, i know i said they were opposite alignments earlier but i didn't even consider scum/scum

I agree that Jester/MDS being town means Kagami is scum (which would probably also make Dunn town but doesn't matter at that point).

I have no idea if I'd pick SAD/scout or my pair as the other town pair. I need to actually stop and think some more.

HS, how do you reconcile this post (or rather Parama's general approach displayed in this post) if the view of the game we're building is correct?

I can reconcile it - it's actually not a hard post for scum to make as it could be them attempting to 1. pick up cred after a MDS/Jester town flip if the lynch lands on Jester, 2. generate false associatives if the lynch lands on them (and hopefully coerce town into chaining it into a Jester lynch anyway), but I want to know if you agree/disagree.

that post looks towny as fuck to me. on the other hand, i was pushing kagami pretty hard for that, and i don't think anybody can argue that kagami's posts there were scummy as fuck. so it might be another attempt to pocket my by sharing my reads.

as town: parama is trying to solve the game, reads mds/jester as T/T and is legitimately unsure on smith's role.
as scum: parama is trying to potentially double-bus the scumteam for towncred and throws smith in there as the final mislynch plan. this is really fucking risky because at this point i'm still unsure on his slot and he knows this, so i could suicide if his bus lynches go through even if he gets insane towncred for it.
parama reads as a very logical and calculating player regardless of alignment, i don't think number 2 really makes any sense at all.

that's my thoughts on that post in particular.

on the other hand town is pretty set on the idea that scum is in pie/smith so it wouldn't be a hard mislynch to pull off at all.
overall i'm not so sure bussing is something likely to come from parama, but daytalk changes that drastically.

i would get behind a kagami lynch is we didn't lynch dunn at the same time. i think even though he's being overzealous he can absolutely win the game for us with enough information which is partly why i don't mind taking the bullet today
that martyrism fades as i become more unsure on parama, though.

i know i'm flip-flopping a lot but clearly my playstyle earlier in the game wasn't working so i'm trying to play differently today.

Why can't scum!parama include 2 town-townpairs and 1 scum-townpair? What on earth makes you think that those are scum if parama is scum, but not mhsmith? If you believe she's double bussing, why can't she have just bussed mhsmith until now?
