I think my role indicates they should be the same in death, otherwise my watcher is unlikely to be useable in a game with this much kill power.

Which is also why I was thinking due to the length it took for that to come online, it might indicate that death was where the real game took place, but seems that's not the case since we got flips.

Kate's role too, my guess is they can still vig someone in their hood from the grave

Also, Marci was replaced out of games site wide. So I doubt it has anything to do with this game tbh

I kinda prefer not having a role sometimes, it's low presh. Like in 3d20, being Even-Night tracker was relatively weak compared to the other possibilities so I felt free to just bumrush for the roll claims without fear of it getting me NKed

My problem is that after a re-read and another re-read on top of that, I just can't see either Kate or Gif as scum, no matter how much it would make my other town reads make sense numbers wise.

I've half a mind to throw away everything and sheep Kate... but their scumread of me in and of itself is a fundamental flaw in their logic that WILL lose us the game given we have to get everything exactly right.

I don't really have it in me to bother with the fancy color things any more, sorry.

I feel like my best chance of a course correction if that's what's needed, is grounded in seeing how you've processed the game and what your current thoughts are and why.

I feel like proceeding without that lowers the chance of a course change (correct or not) by a significant amount.

maybe? but it seems like you're looking at it from the wrong end.

speaking generically I usually go along with things my hydra partners want to do even if it's not something I'd initiate myself. Morph is a whole study in spayhalf doing stuff spayhalf doesn't do. I'm more cautious in newer hydrae than well established ones.
