Mini 168 - Item Mafia Game Over

Wow, I thought we were so hosed... everybody seemed to have it figured out. I was shaking in my running shoes.

Although I made a horrible counterclaim I was the brain behind the mafia affairs. Wow, the biggest help was when youy guys lynched Kleimar, if you lynched me or Locus, we would have died because the mafia acts as one and the shoes can't be used 2 days in a row. Nice game all but congratulations to Lord Krishna because this was his first game and he played incredibly.

Wow. How'd we manage to screw that one up. I suppose if the mod hadnt banned me from using my gun to kill Assasin, clearing Armlx, and proving Locus was bad. Bah.

I still think that since the info was irrelvant and was on this site before the game started, so it shoulnt have counted as out of game. Oh well. I'll link later.

Why was kleimer lynched? He was cleared and knew Assasin was scum. Armix was cleared. This game should've been in the bag for the town.

I think it amounted to a lack of communication on the side of the town. We spent most of our time running around trying to kill people we thought were scum nobody ever thought o kill the guy who was scum. and the scum used the items available alot better than we did. All in all you guys did well.

Thanks for the compliment, Assasin, but I think what made it for the Mafia was you and Locus figuring out the Items in the end there -- without that, you would have been hosed. I had fun here. Thanks, all.

The items thing was all Assasin. The only thing I'm willing to take credit for is getting kleimar lynched.

Yeah, I think the downfall of the town was there lack of buying items. armlx Iammars and Coolbot were the only three that really bought items out of the blue, and Coolbot never used his.
armlx had just figured it out towards the end, and had the mafia shot him instead of Strykker, the town would have won since armlx had the mirror.

I hope you all enjoyed, I'm thinking of doing one of these again, but make the items much more random and it won't be as unbalanced.

To be fair, Locus had figured that out too. That's why the mafia shot Strykker instead of armlx.

I think that in hindsight the town should have been more open about what the items do. You do not become a target for just having an item that everyone can buy. The mafia with it's night communication will find out what the items do anyway. So it would be better for the town to make these things clear to each other as well.

I'm not a fan of the auto thing, however, I will PM everyone who was in this game to tell them ahead of time when the sign ups are coming up, that way you can get a head start, but I won't auto, only because I think it's slightly unfair.

Side note: Sycko and I are gonna co-mod a Red Vs. Blue Big Theme Game, as long as it's approved, so if any of you are interested, feel free to sign up when the time comes.
