I should have a new router tomorrow and things should be less irritating. Anyway--off to business.
In post 136, Tierce wrote:Not enough. But I am more interested in KillerApple following up the post I just quoted with a lengthy self-meta read, when Ankamius hadn't even explained what those bad vibes were; he wasn't interested in asking Ankamius himself why he was voting him, but was quick to justify himself the moment someone else asked.
Back to this now that I am more or less conscious--KillerApple, you didn't show interest as to
why
Ankamius thought your posts were bad. The jump to conclusions is odd; why should you assume you are scummy when the site meta is different, you are not playing with the same people, and your actions are Town-motivated? It's the lack of curiosity that bothers me; you're not interested as to
why
Ankamius got bad vibes from your posts, you already
know
(or act like you do).
But then he goes and says ballsy stuff like "I dare you to lynch me" and I don't think he would have the confidence to do it as scum, as he seems self-conscious of his image from that Ankamius bit; he knows this is how he comes across as Town and doesn't bother to ask anymore.
That
makes the picture make sense. Good Townread, would munch on (more apples and less killing, pretty please with apple on top).
Let's go back to page 6 for a moment:
Reck and Venmar: what is the scum benefit for KillerApple to admit this? Wouldn't it have been far easier to make something up?
In post 151, xRECKONERx wrote:It's scummy because when town players say things, they usually have conviction/reasoning behind what they say. But when scum players post, many times they fill their post with hot air or force reads that they don't actually believe (because they already know who is scum and who isn't) and those "forced reads" are accompanied by flowery adjectives that are empty and vapid.
The problem is that it's
not
. He used that word, you called him on it, scumApple would have every benefit in figuring out an excuse. He doesn't care about an excuse because he's Town.
In post 160, Venmar wrote:I like the read because it's proven to be quite accurate in my experiences, but only on the right wagons, of course it doesn't apply on EVERY wagon. I thought the wagons speed and the way Amrun jumped applied said read.
Oh no no no.
Why
did "said read" apply? You're doing the same crap I do as scum, which is shore up my cases with BS mafia theory. The rest of the Amrun justification wasn't
bad
, but adding this? That is a terribly lame excuse to vote someone. "She only joined the wagon when there was some interest. Oh, and third spot on a wagon and GUT >:D" No. Crap read. Crap justification. Bad scum player, no biscuit.
In post 168, Generic wrote:The additional case reckoner has begun to poke apple with is even more concerning. I'm not encouraged by apples responses to what seem decent points. And post 150 is a hand waving away of it without looking like he is reacting in a negative way to a momentum gaining wagon.
vote killerapple
You seem to be attempting to hold a measure of control under pressure but you aren't effectively answering the points raised against you, it's vague and dismissive.
Unlike Venmar, he's being dismissive
and
scumhunting at the same time. That's not unheard of from Town players at all.
Venmar is yet to scumhunt. He justified his behavior and then stopped doing
anything
but joking around as the pressure mounted off him and onto KillerApple. This does not sound like a real dismissal of the wagon, as he doesn't care enough to do
anything else
even when his behavior was called out as scummy. Contrast with KillerApple, who is actively participating and looking for scum--Venmar's posts are just
push push push
without content behind them. See, for example:
Har har. And how about the content people have been posting at that point? How about the Metal Sonic discussion? How about everything that CDB and Nexus posted? Yeah, let's not bother about that, why should he.
Incidentally, Venmar's softclaim is dull and awkward. Yes, I know who you're softclaiming, but there is no way that KillerApple's claim would make things "awkward" for you.
If I had a bullet, it would have Nacho's name on it.
Post 171 is what my I-finally-caught-Nacho-scum dreams are made of (no, #175 doesn't fix it, you should know FAR before then that KillerApple is Town). Can we move on to a later Day where that lynch is viable? I'm asking nicely.
In post 184, Nachomamma8 wrote: In post 181, Generic wrote:Also, unless I'm co fusing you with another player (on my phone so it's all small text) have you just attempted to vote for apple and then cleared him as town? Erratic to the extreme, what's with the meltdown?
I didn't really think he was that scummy when I voted him, but I didn't mind turning up the pressure. His response reminded me of somebody that I used to know.
Adding to the pressure by an unexplained vote with a guy who doesn't care about his wagon? No biscuit, no bonnet, but I offer rope.
I had another bullet with Nexus's name on it (his Venmar scumread evaporated halfway through #224) and then I remembered he was the one who shared my reasoning for Venmar's vote being awful on his next post. Problem is that I don't think Venmar is bussing.
Don't like Amrun with no sense of paranoia (no paranoia on me? no paranoia on Nacho?), and don't like her and Reck egging the easiest-wagon-in-the-history-of-wagons along. Still, Reck is probably Town if Venmar flips scum--I don't think Venmar would be following a buddy THAT much.
And Amrun? Amrun.
In post 244, Amrun wrote:Oh my God, did you just say that people who look scummy in day 1 are not scum and that's why you unvoted?
This wedding isn't red enough for me.
How is this scummy.
In what world is that silly, ridiculous statement scummy. It's STUPID, it's utterly idiotic, he
doesn't know how to scumhunt
. But it's not scummy to say that and you're trying to egg on a wagon on stupidity. Bullet, crosshairs, dead cat. Does anyone care to count how many times Amrun has tried to push the KillerApple wagon on? Because I'm going through a LOT of those posts and that push adds nothing to the discussion.
In post 325, Amrun wrote:Why are you so concerned with tearing down my townread of AV?
Holy exaggeration batman. tsunami was trying to figure out
why
you think that early Townreads on you are Townish, and you jump to
this
?
In post 393, Amrun wrote:So how can you claim we'll get no information from your lynch?
are you for real
Are you seriously saying he can't analyze his own wagon before flipping
when he knows his own alignment
? Because that's what this sentence implies. He doesn't see information in his flip, because he
already has it
. But you're incapable of seeing this from his PoV. Why?
In post 404, Amrun wrote:But apparently Venmar's been dropping character hints; I didn't pay attention to jokes in regards to this. But KA was looking for it, apparently, so that's scummy.
Ooooh boy. Yeah, because it's totally unheard of for Town to be looking for flavor hints, when they like the flavor and
want to know a bit more about the damned game
. Criminal for Town to be curious. But Amrun is a saint and wasn't looking for it, look how Town she is for it!
In post 414, Amrun wrote:Not answering that question?
You're scum.
VOTE: Metal Sonic
What question?
I'll also take CDB, Nexus, macmollie as Town. CDB, your reads suck. Please fix it.
Was the request for more of me from Mac? I'd expect so. I haven't engaged you because I had yet to engage anyone and I don't really see a reason to be discussing things with you right now. Unless you want to powerwagon Nacho and that would be GLORIOUS but also not happening Today because people are boring. I'll just get in line for hair-braiding mollie instead.
Things this game needs right now: one new router for me, a rope, one dead Venmar, one dead Amrun and a time machine so we can have a dead Nacho (though I'll take just a trip to after-Tuesday if that can't be arranged--more Tammy is a good temporary (ha) alternative to Nacho Needs Dead Already). Shipment to the Twins, to be paid on delivery. Flaying can be arranged as alternative payment.
