In post 201, Mr. Flay wrote:Okay, so reread of the first 200. zakk and TAM are the confTown. zakk was voting TAM, so that only leaves jmo16mla, Mindgamer, Number_0ne, and Mr. Flay on the wagon. notsci and The-Duck explicitly Town-read him; both make me itchy. Fart Bane ignored the matter almost entirely, but in what seems a genuine way (he was pretty tunneled on notsci). Nobody really backed off, except jmo16mla's odd postlynch regret which still reads as townish. I also think jmo16mla's 2nd vote on TAM (#) looks very genuine for the stage of the game it was in. Mindgamer's also been pretty consistently aggressive so far, so coming in with a wagon-evening vote doesn't really rub me the wrong way.

N1's jump on the TAM wagon though (#) is pretty suspicious, as he leaves himself plenty of outs for notsci to be scum instead. I'll laugh if I called it in the very next post:
In post 160, Mr. Flay wrote:if only one of them is scum, now is the time when we'll start to see pressure to lynch the other from his buddy...
Oh, and The-Duck's townread of TAM was #. Neat.

On the gripping hand, The-Duck immediately addresses my #160 in #, though he then accuses jmo16mla of doing the same thing with notsci, twice. Doubt those two are scum together.

Number_One on the other hand was VERY quick to notice that we'd achieved lynch when I blundered. Not a scumtell in and of itself given the late stage of D1, but his vote switch relies heavily on Mindgamer's case, not his own, and he basically switched off of jmo16mla because "it wasn't going anywhere" (#). Yet when the TAM lynch goes sour, D2 he comes in and goes after... Fart Bane? The lurker?

And as was already pointed out, he didn't announce that we were at L-1 despite it being mentioned several times in earlier pages. Sloppy? He seems precise otherwise...

VOTE: Number_One
[doublechecks the ^$#$^& count]
Things to dislike. Complaining that number 1 switched vote because his old vote wasn't going anywhere, when flay did the same thing.

Lots of nice things said about jmo

Did that are sense to people?
I so dislike flay post 315. The guy lynched day one, intended to lynch day 2. Was happy to join others wagons. Dislike dislike dislike.
Assuming flay is scum, jmo then gives me the bad vibes too. The way he interacts with flay, just gives me all the wrong vibes.

I'm going to say that te PR shouldn't claim unless 1. They have a guilty or 2. They have an innocent and they are about to be lynched. Obviously, if they are about to be lynched, they should speak up.

Il go over this thread some tonight.

Well, I don't have that much to contribute, but I find that claiming would be beneficial. It would either give us 2 people to lynch between, or give us 1 clear. Depending on who the clear is, it could win us the game. While it would result in the PR dying, if we don't focus on today, there's no need to worry about the next day from now.

As for my suspicion list it's

Mr. Flay
The-Duck
Jmo16mla
geraintm

with least at the top and most at the bottom.

Why did you hammer yesterday? Here I am tooting my horn, but do you think scum would have reacted the way that I did when you hammered? /donetootinghorn

A lot of it is your predecessor, to be honest.

I'll wait for you to stop posting links and actually build your case before I respond to the replyspam.

I suspect Mindgamer may have just died due to the overwhelming Town reads. Both jmo and I are tainted, despite having our supporters, and everyone else seems to have less Townie Brownies than us. If jmo isn't scum, scum are probably counting on that "I'm lynching the fuck out of Flay tomorrow" comment to help their case. Personally I'm finding it hard to believe he's scum right now; his methods are awfully transparent and he's been very solid in doing the 'junior IC' thing that has helped stabilize the town.

Fart Bane's replacement out is... uhhh, weird. He specifically disclaims the scumminess of what he's done, but he WAS just starting to draw some serious heat... and he was basically useless all game. Newbie or Newbie Scum?

So with that said, my reads right now are:
geraintm (mostly for Fart Bane) and Number_0ne (tied) - willing to revise this once geraintm gets done with his backread.
The-Duck
jmo16mla

Not sure how to reply to "it isn't you, it is the other guy"

Sorry for spam, quoting posts on an ipad is not easy and seems much easier to do it over multiple posts. I realise reads horrible, can't bebhelped.

It's the second time that you call people out for bad hammers, might be a good idea to prevent the situation instead of claiming to be town because of how you react to the hammer. This feels like trying to get some easy towncred..
Yesterday you have been defending NS without giving reasons other than "this is terrible" or "this game is anti-town!" which is also a nice way to get easy towncred
In fact, I'm having a hard time finding your scumhunting-posts.. the biggest part of what you've done is like flay called it "junior-ic things".
I've been thinking of you as likely town for quite some time now, but I'm starting to question myself quite a lot now :S
Flay, help me out here please and show me what makes you so sure Jmo is town.

I don't either. Nobody's a conftown for me (there's a long slot between jmo and TOWNIEST in that ranking), which is part of why massclaim will help me so much. jmo does appear to have a disturbing trend, now that you mention it. But you've been too quiet by half... where's your scumhunting, too? geraint hasn't posted anything since replacing in except quote marks. and Number_0ne has that supersuspicious hammer yesterday.

@flay. Nothing but quote marks? Each quote came with comments. I accuse you of being scum. I suggest jmo is also scum. I spent the day before arguing against mass claim. If we weren't at lynch or lose, I would have voted for you already.
Bit.more tham just some quotes....

I'm seeing a lot of paraphrasing and information, but precious little analysis. Can you summarize your opinions from your reread, or does 441 basically cover it?

Okay. How do you suppose I stop people from voting? :shifty:
In post 439, The-Duck wrote:claiming to be town because of how you react to the hammer
its just a question. Do you feel that my reaction is one from scum? Pretty simple.
In post 439, The-Duck wrote:Yesterday you have been defending NS without giving reasons other than "this is terrible" or "this game is anti-town!" which is also a nice way to get easy towncred
I don't think i defended NS... where does "this game is anti town" cross the line of defending someone? The game WAS anti town. we had pretty much one wagon per day, and no shifting of votes or anything. It keeps scum from having to make too many choices and screw up along the way. you follow?
In post 439, The-Duck wrote:In fact, I'm having a hard time finding your scumhunting-posts..
Not to point a finger, but I don't really remember much of your contributions.. actually, I think the game would pretty much be the same without you.

Right, so. my scum players.. everyone. I really have everyone as much scum as others. Flay a little less.

@jmo flay a little less? You wanted to hammer yesterday.
