Good question, and I'll admit I'm confused about the confusion...

I can dig the "scum 101" thing. How do you square that with how Raya has been playing? She has been virtually solely focused on LL, and has given generous town-reads. That doesn't sound to me like a player who is fence-sitting or simply waiting for things to fall into place.
No. I never said Raya was fence sitting.
I am saying TTJT's stance on Blopp (as stated by TTJT himself in post 369 if anything, was fence-sitting and I dont see it as a reason to townread TTJT, as raya does.
What I'm saying is I disagree with Raya's post 397 where he TRs TTJT.

In that scenario, I agree, that the player in that spot has to claim an exact role.
The CRITICAL DIFFERENCE between the scenario here and in that game, was that Umlaut was at E-1, with INTENT TO HAMMER EXPRESSED.
I agree that there's a difference but Lucky has already claimed so we can't just let them slide by because they claimed a PR when it can't be verified.
I'm not saying 'let it slide'. If you are town and genuinely scumread, then find something more convincing. Right now I'm not seeing it and the claim feels legit.

Scumread LL*

I think my whole case and how reactionary Lucky acted in response is enough on its own
I don't believe the claim at all. Scum ALWAYS claims a PR in this situation. So why are we just blindly trusting Lucky's PR claim when we don't even know the specific role and can just get by without a counterclaim

It feels to me like his wagon got run up, he doesnt want town wasting town focussing on him, and doesnt care all that much about this game, so isnt that fussed about being night-killed.

72 has been completely underwhelming the last couple pages.

Being solely focused on one player and giving generous town-reads is pretty common scumplay. You town-read people because townies like to be town-read and then they support you on your miskick and you get to be all confused about how you were wrong and reevaluate later.

Can't tell if JamSV is openwolfing with his setup spec or if he just really doesn't understand how much harm he does to the town with open setup spec.

Regardless of whatever openwolfing is and whether or not I'm doing it, claiming to be a town PR when being instantly put at E-1 is a big big big red flag. You also just did a 72 and ignored the fact how I explained you aren't town.

It's okay JamSV, I'm writing a wall post and then I'm going to suggest you eliminate my slot so you can get your head out of your ass and play the game.

You had this same defeatists attitude in out last Newbie together. That doesn't mean I am TRing you for it. It means I don't like your play here.

Just wait Quick, you are going to love what I post. A game with both you and Looker in it is bound to be a joke.

Why get nasty? Especially in newbie games were it can discourage players from playing again if they aren't having fun. I get it's not fun being targeted but I hate these style arguments. The only reasonable conclusion I will come up with is people who ok get nasty with others are either uncooperative town or scum playing to their agenda.
Like I understand a joke or jab or two and who knows maybe you two are comfortable with each either to speak like that but I personally am getting tired of it.

I may start policy eliminating players like this from now on. It will at least make the game feel more fun for me. At this point im going against my better judgement and would like you too claim exact role LL.

Surprise surprise. I am TRing this post.

It has less to do with JamSV, and more to do with the fact that the only two players on the site whom I avoid playing with - and they both know I avoid playing with them - chose to replace into the game, knowing that I am in it. @JamSV, sorry, but seriously... step up you game.

I didn't know that actually. I think you judge me too quickly. I get it, why you don't want to play with me, but you still judge me too quickly. That's actually one of the reasons I am SRing 72 so hard. He doesn't seem interested in how I play the game at all but he still feels like he has every right for me to play with him like I should ignore that or something and just answer his questions when he doesn't actually like my play. Not saying he should like my play, but I am am saying if that's the case then don't expect me to just ignore the fact you are never going to listen to any of my reads.
I'm almost done with my wallpost. The short version is that I know I'm town, so I know that his perspective's matching mine WRT Blopp and Raya means he's likely got a townie starting point with his read to the game. I know that's not useful to you, but I'm also going to advocate you eliminate my slot, at which point you should see that 72o's obvtown. He didn't just sheep me either, he gave independent original thoughts that shared my perspective of the game.
