Deimos was actually my second scumread if BM proved himself to be town, but i just couldn’t (or maybe i didn’t) want to believe that literally every single town player thought i was mafia for literally no reason. Should have seen it as being strategic townreading.

Know what, i admit it. I was very fucking petty and vindictive at being scumread so hard early on by people i started to townread. So even though i legit knew that Words’s strategy of lynching Deimos to clear up doubts on me and make me conf!town was the legit best move to make. I intentionally threw the game because of how pissed off i was. I let my emotions take over my logical mindset.

i don't even know that town as a whole did anything obviously wrong, although I am open minded about this if people want to make the case town should take all the blame

imo the biggest factor in this game was luck, me randomly deathtunneling a townie on d1 and two other townies hopped on was obviously handing scum the game on a silver platter. but imagine if i had deathtunneled Deimos randomly instead of you; we probably would've won immediately like battle mage thought. that was a risk of my strategy i was willing to accept at the time given the low empirical town WR for this setup

not to say there weren't things we can all improve on, but i think people in general HAVE TO blame losses or wins on specific causes when really most of the time the predominant factor driving results is just variance
