Yes, I read the fucking thread. By doing that, I noticed that your story is full of holes. You have an ability that EXPLICITLY informs you if you have been targeted at night.
If you then post that you HAVE BEEN TARGETED AT NIGHT, that means you are crumbing that you have received a pm saying you were targeted.

No, it does not mean that. It means he received Eddie's message and thought it was a night action. Since he received no PM from the mod regarding his action, his action could have malfunctioned. It's entirely plausible.

My inference was more that scumShos's thinking was that there was no reason for the Mod to clarify that his ability had gone off, because he'd just gotten a "night" mod message. So the mod hadn't gone a step farther and said "lol, you were targeted fyi in case that wasn't clear."

Only weird part for me is how he could have any kind of subsequent communication with the mod and not make that clear.

But it does make his posts interpretable if you take it that way.

Because I feel like if he asked the Mod about his ability, the Mod could have said that his night action did not trigger, and he did say that he spoke to the Mod.

3. I was given mollie's (? or eddie's?) message immediately on the start of D2. I had a little conversation with the mod in PMs, trying to figure out if this was a night or day action, and after failing miserably (the mod is very good lol) I decided that this was a night action. only after the full claim I understood that this was a day action. I'm guessing Eddie sent this immediately at the start of the day, because it was literally minutes iirc since daystart when I got the message.

Like, the explanation is "He didn't figure it out!" but I don't understand why the Mod would have to obfuscate this in a way that it would become unclear.

But, there are plenty of claim-related mysteries to go around!

The mod's been pretty clear and direct with me, too. D1 I asked him about the rules for talking about team chat content in-game, and he explained it and then gave me 4 examples of dos and don't. Today I asked him about targeting myself and he responded the next time he was on the site.

In general, many of the PMs I received from the mod was a repeat of the same, that I do not know.

I was trying to weasel out of him A) whether my night action went through or not B) whether the PM he sent me was supposed to also say that I *have* been targetted C) was the message sent at day or night and after this one D) if you were a supergod, all knowing omnimod who could respond to things that happen within a nanosecond of them happening, would I receive that message on the same time or 5 minutes prior to that. alllll of these have been casually neglected with an answer that says no answer.

Magua was beginning to crumble under the strain, and that was even before he had seen that zoraster had installed a camera in Magua's cube to watch over him.

"Is that, you know, really necessary?" Magua had asked zoraster.

zoraster had just smiled an evil otter smile.

Time passed.

Magua ran his Large Theme (which, it should be noted to the dear reader, is entirely fictional and made-up only for this flavor).

It came time for another camping trip, at which point Magua handed over Night action resolution to zoraster.

Magua was concerned. Why was TierShift claiming a cop guilty on Faraday?

Faraday was town.

But, Magua, reasoned, who knew? Gambiters going to gambit.

Magua was more concerned. TierShift had ridden that guilty on Faraday all day, and had finally secured a lynch.

Sighing, Magua wrote out the flavor and posted the flip: Faraday, Vanilla Townie, etc etc. He set a deadline and left to get a cup of cocoa.

When he came back, zoraster was waiting in his cube, stroking his silky smooth otter paws in anticipation.

"Pack your things," he said when he noticed Magua. "You messed up for the last time." zoraster motioned towards a convenient nearby cardboard box.

"What?" Magua said, blinking in surprise. "Huh?" he added, eloquently.

"Your large theme," zoraster said, cheerfully. "I got a complaint from TierShift that you gave him the wrong results. Said that Faraday was guilty."

Magua could swear that zoraster licked his lips.

"Wrong result...?" Magua said. Then it clicked. "But I didn't handle the results! I was camping!"

Realization dawned.

"*You* gave him the wrong results!" Magua crowed triumphantly.

"What? No!" zoraster replied. "No, I didn't!" The otter smile was gone. "I'll...I mean...um...this requires more research."

He slid out of Magua's cube before anything else could be said, but it was enough. Magua slept well that night.

It wasn't twenty seconds before zoraster had sidled into Magua's cube. He was rubbing his paws together expectantly.

Magua frowned, and quickly brought up the thread. To his horror, he saw that zoraster was right.

Biting his lip, Magua slowly turned around in his chair to look up into eyes that lacked all mercy.
