@Arch: Sounds like me d1 against Skirt. I found myself physically shaking and feeling sick. I don't think it was this game's or Skirt's fault, just that I was under extreme stress from work, rl, and this. I really needed that weekend to relax and destress, and I didn't look at the game at all.
P-edit: That was mastina. I don't know squat about the mod's meta.

1) Hilariously, I'd miscopied info into the scum topic and referred to DEFCON as "DEFCON Fruit". After the requisite panic over having screwed up the setup, I then realized I hadn't actually given anyone permission to view scum topic
2) Some balance notes:

this is more wolfsided than a setup that would go through NRG, but at the same time we're presuming that the invitational towns will be less ... ineffecive? ... than standard towns

i mean... a town that doesn't suck has plenty of power in my game
but it's too wolfsided for an actual MS normal even with the extra mislynch
minor boost to wolves they might not have considered: even night rolecop usually suggets ODD night rolecop
and then they can "solve" around who's "protecting" it

I think in retrospect, I'm comfortable with the balance level of this setup for this event. The ability of each slot to have five heads and discuss things was a big deal, and I think that this, along with the extra mislynch, made it appropriate to give town much less than they'd normally get in a normal (the most vaguely comparable normal I've run to this setup, btw, was Mini Normal 1823 https://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=67932, 10/3 with tracker/doc/vig/bp against encryptor/goon/1-shot strongman, which I think was fine for mini normal balance... so here I essentially killed the vig, replaced the bp with a fruit vendor, and gave scum a gated rolecop, which in most worlds would be a bit less strong in the setup than a 1-shot strongman).
3) I think it would have been quite unfair to have made a setup that was wolfsided for a normal without giving people a reasonable way to expect this, which was why I'd taken care to note that balance was constructed around expectations for this event, AND that the setup was only reviewed for normalcy (i.e. it did NOT necessarily hew to typical normal game balance expectations). I was actually surprised that it never came up in discussion other than in dead thread... but I think what mattered was that the information was available, as opposed to it necessarily being noticed and considered.
4) I think this game convinced me that for any game other than a micro/newbie, I should only accept votes in vote tags. Bold votes buried inside giant walls are annoying to have to find and super easy to miss.
