Maybe. I mean, we had built a house of cards and needed to finish the game sooner rather than later. The fact you guys let me get away with investigating anyone other than Aldus was only because I claimed a guilty. Claiming an inno there would have been very problematic for my survival that day, let alone ANOTHER day after that.

Raya, thanks for modding. My only feedback would be that next time you should be more transparent about revealing role PMs. It completely ended any chance of scum winning to reveal NPOM's role PM. As a team, we may have played differently around his yeet if we had know that.

Not sure how I feel about this setup in the end. The scum team played pretty cleanly (rocky start), and still got decimated. Three confirmed town out of 13 is a big hill to climb. Aldus did a great job picking out the masons quick. It's weird because if I hadn't been tracked N1 I probably wouldn't have felt so doomed from the start, but we also wouldn't have found the masons so quickly.

Anyhow, fun game all. Would play with any of you again in the future.

Thank you for the input. In the future I intend to make it clear from the start that all role PMS will be posted upon a flip and I'll be consistent in posting all.

VPB I agree about the three masons - I felt that was a huge advantage for the Town.

You played great I felt, particularly after getting tracked to a death. The play was great. I really have nothing but compliments for the way you guys pushed us.

I’m like one of the few people (even in the dead thread) that read you correctly. I’m actually pretty proud of that. You made me doubt it by pushing me so hard, but it all worked out in the end.

@Mods, thanks for the game and the effort! Raya I think you did great. If you had not released the actual Role PM’s, would we have still learned what the Mafia JOAT could do? Because that’s what screws VPB right? That’s the only question I would have.

if i recall the normal guidelines correctly (i modded a few normals), when flipping a JOAT, you can either flip their abilities or not flip them, but it has to be decided by the designers before the game goes live

Haha, I was so mad at you when you convinced everyone to yeet outside of Koba and me

You clinched the town win at that point

I trusted my gut. That’s all I can say about that. I actually had a lot of reservations about your slot, but I kept them to myself in order to push something outside of the 1v1 knowing that I couldn’t convince the Town to flip you instead of Koba.

Yes, you would have still learned that. I released the role PM for clarity since it would be difficult to describe like I did for the tracker. But I should be consistent for all so it would have been clear town would get that info

Or at least I should say, far more reservations than the ones I made public. Like I had a strong feeling you would live until the next day hahaha which would convince others about your slot. I just had to get one flip right before.

I did take my dog out! But only to potty and not on a full walk. I was also trying to cook dinner and was phone posting.

I honestly didn't see your result claim until a good bit after you made it. I wasn't expecting anyone to actually reply to my "quick!" so fast.

Speaking of which, the timezone difference was so hard for me this game! I hated that Dats and Ico had this little pow wow everyday at like 2am my time that I could not interrupt. Made it very hard to stop them from adding to an already substantial town block from the start of the game. Trying to navigate around that was an interesting experience

For sure, for sure. I'm always hesitant to kill the most obvtown person n1, just in case there is a doc. Killing Datisi N1 would have been a MAJOR change in how this game played out. I didn't have strong mason vibes off them D1 though since they were in such a leadership role. Our team obviously had to make killing the masons the top priority. If we had missed even a second shot, we would have been PoE'd even more than we were.

well you made me stay up all night to claim the guilty, so i think it's fair

pedit: wow, and the whole time i was worried that the leadership role *was* going to get me killed. funny how that works.
