I still wonder where Steve and Two Sheds came from

I only watch Chilled for Among Us or Canadian-Among-Us (the winter game thats name slips my mind), so I'm a bit of a fake fan.

But EGS I do indeed read. :P

Hmm. It's hard to know what I would have given you at the time, but right now I'm feeling "Occam".

I gave "Steve" to Gamma not because of anything Gamma did but because the idea of anybody just getting the nickname "Steve" amused me, and the reaction when I dropped it in the thread was exactly everything I had hoped for.

As for Two Sheds, I've always loved the format of Firstname "Nickname" Lastname, and it amused me to reference this classic Monty Python sketch:

Tbf Among Us/Project Winter is like 95% of his content these days. He did more variety before he took a break from uploading (including ToS)
Him and ZeRoyalViking are so fun to watch though. It’s fun seeing a game from an alternate POV as well, there was the style-points win which I had to see both their play to really appreciate.
I tend to watch them on YouTube but I have caught their Twitch streams as well.

I did find Steve funny btw but the reason I found it funny necessitated an outburst of disbelief.
Also we spoofed off your restriction in deadchat because someone suggested a Pokémon theme for nicknames so 3 people gave their picks for that

Like all I said was "can you submit the kill" and you said sure
Yeah that was my bad as well - I thought I actually pushed back on this way harder for some reason but I guess I didn't. Idk I thought it was more obvious than it was I guess.
I definitely should have pushed back on that idk why I let myself get pushed into doing it.
Just speak up! Hard to know someone is frustrated with teammates if I didn't know.

I loved what you did with it. Your non-sequiturs, HCs nicknames and Koba being forced to post in walls are tied for my favorite PRs this game.

In retrospect the PRs weren't that annoying but scum chose some particularly debilitating fake ones. I actually thought of that argument to use towards Flea but I didn't find it that convincing because I knew scum had known fake tasks they could claim.

the only PR I flat-out didn't like was the quotes one. Other than that I thought they were generally well-thought out.

The quote one was definitely the least open-ended one
If you have a pocket scumread you want to bring up but no one else has you’re kinda stuck witb a bad lot (at least from all the feedback I got from the mod)
Meanwhile you have stuff like non-sequiters and nicknames that allow for really inventive posting

I thoroughly loved this game too, but I subbed out for multiple reasons:

1)
Lots of Holiday stuff happening with family for over a week and VLA that long would've been disruptive for the game methinks.
2)
I also had doctor's appointments AND I've job-hunting has been taking up more time.
3)
I was experiencing burn-out IRL and while I love mafia, mafia contributes to burn-out for me, and I didn't want to spend my ~potentially last several-week break for a long while~ checking MS 10 times a day.

Granted, this was a large game, and if town didn't up and lim scum back-to-back, then this game could've gone much longer than it did and that also factored into how much time I thought I'd place into it later.

I almost feel bad because I really enjoyed this game but I figured it was the best for my mental health and a better way to manage my time if I just focused on RL stuff. :D

Scum often times say they'll comment (bullshit) later but don't have the time/motivation to do so.

Take that knowledge of her accusation and use it the best way you can to act like town.
noted.
In post 93, SirCakez wrote:BM's scumhunting consists of townreading people who townread him and scum reading people who scum read him
So just be careful picking that fight
okay even I don't think this
In post 103, SirCakez wrote:On thinking about the regular NK - I think we should go after the most active posters. I think we can force this game into apathy pretty easily if we knock off the top three or so most active people.
yeah that explains why Akarin died then
The issue with this is it most likely knocks off vanillas vs. town PRs, and high activity can be a WIM killer, so offing the most active can actually bring the game back into a playable state for town. Plus if one or more scum has a lot of posts it becomes shady when they don't get killed for a while. I played this game in Large Normal 230 actually so I'm surprised you thought to try it after it tanked so badly in that game
in fact I think in both games the big nail-in-the-coffin moment for that plan was replacements coming in with fresh motivation to solve (unwnd and vax in LN 230, windows and mastina here)
In post 120, Bell wrote:These two posts might come back to bite you.

But I don't want us to circle the drain on one another so I'm not going to take this tack I think.
Need to change my process and figure out what I want to do.

This is more psyching myself up post. H
at least bell controlled his bussing urge?
In post 156, SirCakez wrote:so it's looking like town is deciding to go with normal scumhunting which is weird but whatever
our miselim pool is looking like (MC, BM, Titus, Haschel, TGP, Reck)
so we should all try to navigate towards pushing these players through without being blatant about it
nudge the town along, if you will
Looking at this the miselim set kinda fell apart for scum
Bell's lim made titus obvtown, Haschel became p much conftown after Flea was limmed, Reck was never getting limmed after I got shot, tgp got replaced by a harder-to-lim by a mile player, the only really feasible prospects later on were MC and BM
In post 163, Bell wrote:Gamma meta knighting like he always do.
I feel like I've gotten better at making points without meta involved, but I also feel like the meta maybe isn't such a bad thing? Like, let's note what happened in Guns and Roses V. I was wrongly SRing you, but then I got wise to the value of Akarin's read on you, and called you town regardless of her alignment. That was only possible because I learned Akarin correctly townreads LHF a lot through this game and my RQS (which btw I think did kinda well at catching scum/hepling me work with people more)
In post 173, SirCakez wrote:We should push on the people who tried to last minute elim Titus
see this is where you made a fundamental error
that motion from me + some others was strictly pro-town. The entire point was to push a wagon close to lim and see who might flinch or react poorly. Wagons are good for town in larges, did LLD's wall in Xenoblade 2 miss you?

I'm happy for Akarin to die. They're taking control so disrupting that is always good.

Gamma should be good bait.

wdym Bait?!?

man I really turned myself into a big target by placing my faith in blitzo. probably for the best because that elevated my reads in terms of how they were valued, plus the not-slip I caught would have hard derailed my credibility

I can be roasted for the terrible majority-scum group, but if I rationalized
Cakez
-scum in the N2 PT, it was a fleeting idea.

Some of their posts, like
Blitzo
, conveyed that they had a lot of scumreads and I found that to be an icky stance with the thread cohesion on a lim.

Still, I don't deserve much credit, my reads were off this game.

This is one of those weird games where I played a PR quite well AND had good thread presence, with little else on my side.
