The latter one realized that they have no time to commit to a time-sensitive game and replaced out.

The former one skated through the entire game based on the early townie vibes.

Which one is more pro-town?
I would agree with you if I just happened to be lurking or trying to avoid posting but I did have a legitimate reason for not being able to post. You can check my posting history in other games if you don't believe me. The only other game I posted in recently was the one I am modding as that only took me about five minutes to get on and do a vote count and I could do that at my friends house.
I'm sorry if you feel I should have replaced out, but a) I didn't figure I would be without access for as long as I was, and b) I don't ever like replacing out of a game.

Anyway now I have internet back and should be able to post once a day, like I said.
Konowa wrote:I do not like how you [Artem] are trying to paint a null-tell, replacing out, as a pro-town move.
And this is a good point.

Hmm, where are JB and OP? JB has usually posted by now. OP has been much more erratic, but he would normally be now. We definitely need their input.

mod,vote count is wrong.

others, who have we determined is town and why? so far I have kreriov as gut town, and artem as neutral town. Kreriov has played a solid game and has been a very active scumhunter. Artem has as well, the only difference between the two of them is something feels off to me about artem, but I could be wrong. I am willing to focus on the others, cause if either of them truly is scum, they deserve to win for a masquerade well done.

Because Seraphim flipped town, that no longer clears OP IMO, and I've never been sure where JB stands to me. ThAdmiral I can't make a good read on, but feel he has flown under the radar. Konowa seems to float by too. He's the kind of guy who likes to wait and then go "for the already mentioned before by said player,I support this lynch"

My two scum targets would be konowa, OP

I rushed to update all of my games this morning, so I went on the BW that wasn't mine. For now I'll give ThAd the benefit of the doubt, just cause he's had V/LA problems too like me, and will go:

I'll change the in-thread post to say your vote was on ThAdmiral at the time, but the first post will have your current vote for Konowa.

I'm here guys. Been reading, but very busy these last couple of days so havent had anything real to say.

By the way, we need a lynch TODAY! If we (god forbid) mislynch, today is the last chance we will have to lynch and get one more lynch if we fail.

So we gotta decide now, are we gonna do it today, or are we gonna sit on our asses and think a little more and try to find a scum so we get a little more time?

I'd say we should hurry.

Without being able to present a better case than those that already have come up, I feel that sabrewolf would be a better lynch than ThAdmiral and Konowa. Thats because I feel I have nothing on ThAdmiral, his latest post was pretty good and in my eyes it was town thinking. Konowa I have town-read on, mainly based on his voting pattern, two scumvotes isnt a fail-safe townread, but it is better than being off the wagons in my opinion.

So, by occams razor and logic:
Vote: Sabrewolf

@Sabre - Your point about Konawa only applies to two lynches - DTF and Seraphim. He has been both voting and acting townish. In particular, he pushed for and suggested the main reason for Santos' lynch as well as stating reasons for voting llama. He also avoided the DJ lynch. Maybe not as vociferously as me, but he was neither on the first DJ wagon nor on the DJ lynch. So, your characterization of his voting only applies to his participation in the DTF and Sera lynches. And Sera in particular had a scummy voting record that deserved votes. (That is actually one reason I have JB as neutral and not town. His voting record is almost identical to Seraphims. I thought Sera's record scummy and was wrong once already so the good participation and generally townie demeanor easily cancel out the voting record.)

Huh, I must have been writing at the same time you were JB. Lets hope StrangerCoug gets to this quickly. I really do think Sabre will flip scum so we have some breathing space. Even so, I am really worried about this weekend. When I leave work on Friday (4 Sep), I will not be heard from here until Tues (8 Sep). Going to see Jimmy Buffet on Saturday and to a Nationals game on Sunday.

Unvote

Regarding the other point raised against me.... I spent a lot of time thinking about it, and I reached a conclusion that certain actions that would normally be considered anti-town or null can actually be pro-town in a time-sensitive game. Example: self-hammering/voting. Both DJ and Seraphim self-voted, a move that I normally frown upon. Yet, in the context of this game, it makes perfect sense for a townie --- who feels they are in too deep --- to do: it promotes a faster lynch and gets the game moving.

Same thing with replacing out. Yes, normally somebody replacing out is a null tell. However, when they occupy a spot in a time-sensitive game that others have no way of getting a read on, the most pro-town thing to do is to replace out.

(Of course, if Saber flips scum, I'm going to eat my words, and then give up on this game, because it's completely counter-intuitive.)

Towards the beginning of the game I said that -- even with all the threats to lynch lurkers -- it's almost a guarantee that at least one scum are going to coast to the end-game. I still stand by my words and I think that at least one scum are among our lurkers: {ThAdmiral, Konowa, OP}. Based on the wagons (which I'm going to post and color-code after Saber's cardflip), my money is on Konowa and JB, but at this point, the only person that would surprise me if they flipped scum are Kreriov.

Time was money. Valuable money. So the town of Puerto Morado didn't bother with finding a rope and a tree branch for saberwolf. They just found a ball of yarn laying around and tied a piece of
THAT
around his neck, strangling him with it.

But if time is money, then Puerto Morado is on the verge of bankruptcy, seeing as a search of saberwolf's house doesn't reveal anything incriminating. Uh-oh...

saberwolf, who was a
vanilla townie
, has been lynched on Day 6.
Also, his most recent post is deleted as it was made after he was lynched and it is not a bah post. Sorry, but you should be paying attention.

This is LYLO by time as the bomb now goes off on September 3, less than 72 hours away.

@ThAdmiral & Konowa - For better or worse, you two are the ones I think are also town. At the very least the three of us have to agree on a lynch by noon tommorrow. I will be online by about 9am EST tommorrow and constantly checking in.

@Artem - I could see JB as scum. I do not trust my judgement any more. The person with the scummiest voting record after Sera and Sabre is JB. Obviously it means jack in this game.

SEVEN HOURS LEFT.
The bomb does go off close to my lunch break, but I don't know if I can get on to check then (I was working a night shift when I started the game; I now work mornings), and it may be until I can get home before I post anything.

We pretty much have the same votingrecord you and I Kreriov, exept the DJ-mislynch when you voted for Sabre who also turned up town. So if my votingrecord is scummy (which I dont think it is), so is yours.

@JB - I know, except you were much more likely to jump on an off wagons. The OP wagon is the only one you started. I have you as nuetral and was hoping to get commentary from Artem. Basically the 4 townies have to vote today by about noon or it is over. So basically I think it is over. The two remaining scum will simply not vote. They have no reason to try and appear townie any more.

The game will be over before we find out. No way we get two more votes in time. It really sucks that SC missed updating this until so late last night. There will be no chance for some of the other to see what happened yesterday and cast a vote by the time SC ends the game today :(

Following a townie's voting pattern is a scum tactic. The difference between your votes and Kreriov's are that your last 4 (5?) votes have all been "Well, we gotta get the game moving", which is convenient excuse to hide behind without doing any real work.

@Artem - That was my thinking with Sera and Sabre. They both had reactionary and any wagon is good voting records except in some key areas. Sera was on every single wagon except Santos and hopped from wagon to wagon. Sabre was almost exactly the same, except he missed the llama wagon and was on wagons a bit earlier than Sera. Both were town :( I really just do not get it. DJ had similar voting patterns as well, for which I have lynched him in past games. (This is one reason I dismissed DJs voting record. He has other scum tells that were just missing in this one.) I can say I see JBs voting record as scummy. There has to be something else to go on. Lets hope we get 3 more days to try and figure it out. Though it will really only be one more day for me. Buffet concert and Nationals games are calling already :)
