Honor and dignity, taking someone down with me in a fight. Very Romanesque, really.
This is another question to ffery: Did you get a character you submitted?

Yes.

That doesn't strike me as honorable. "I lost fair and square, but I'll take some other guy with me"? It's not an obvious inconsistency, but it's a pretty stark contrast to how well my character fits my role. Can you respond to my other question?
I'm going offline for a couple hours. If I'm still alive, I'll be back to discuss more later. Again, no need to cut off discussion with a premature hammer due to plurality lynch.

@Kdub: I think you may well be telling the truth about being a fruit vendor. I understand the utility as well, presuming Rach is one of those mods that only allows one action per scum.
But even so there's little point in leaving you alive just in case we manage to lynch the other scum first.

To answer this question (assuming that's what you're referring to).
Yes, it can confirm that you are not performing the killing action. Which is great... if there is only 1 scum. Granted, it does put you in a bind if your buddie goes down, but scum-aligned fruit vendors do exist.

BRO, you are more likely to be NKed than lynched given your claim. Assuming you are town, scum won't want to push your wagon unless they feel really confident that they know your intended target and that you will stick with it.
How do you feel about that?

Twice have I been duped by a fruit-vendor role. One of them was an actual fruit vendor (as ffery mentioned) and another time was an SK esque type of role.

@BRO
Also, how does it work if we were to lynch you? How do you put in your venge kill?

the other game was Always Sunny in mafia. I had pegged said vendor as scum, but left him alone due to his claim

You can use a role for more than just it's mechanical value. Mason is probably the role that I see most used this way.
PM doesn't specify anything beyond the fact that I have a vengekill if I get lynched day 1. I would assume I could either post the kill target in here or PM it to Rach, but she didn't specify.

Yes you can. A killing non-scum role is very powerful and swingy in a 9p setup.

...I don't need to say anything more other than to highlight these two posts.
I think you missed the point of ffery's question. Also, why would scum ever kill you for your role given that you are specifically claiming that your venge kill only works D1? If you really thought I was scum, why claim when you did rather than seeing what happened between our wagons and then killing me if you got lynched?

BRO
It's an important ability by your own admission. It's importance lies in actually getting lynched so you can use it.
Your actions and your words don't appear to line up.

You don't seem to get what I'm trying to do.
Missing a vengeshot in 9p to insta-MyLo the game is a big risk.

Calling it an important role when your intent is to defang it does not line up.

About an hour left. I'm still in line to be lynched. I'm willing to switch to BRO, but I do want him to answer my questions. I think I MIGHT see what he is trying to hint at, but if it is what I think it is, it's still inconsistent with his earlier play if he really thought I am scum.

Did I call it important? I'm pretty sure I didn't because that's not a thing I would say.
