Out of my 3 completed games, I've seen serious self voting 3 times. Twice it was scum, and the third time it was town doing it to prevent a lynch on scum, exactly as bad as it sounds. I have no patience for self voting, and I still think smithereens should be lynched. Yes, I'm saying this even after the response maru got for posting something somewhat similar, because I feel strongly about this and I'm not just going to cower to make myself look more towny.

I agree with the lylo comment at least, but we should try and hit scum. I think Smith probably flips town now.

3 games is a small samples size and is in no way indicative of what smithereens is doing. I think it's a bad play to vote for yourself - as Anen outlined - and I feel really bad hopping on to a wagon that podo is part of. My vote stays where it is for now, but Maru is looking worse and worse.

I fully agree with Anenenenenen's logic, I just don't come to the same conclusion. If town can self vote and gets a free stay of execution, then scum will do the same.

On day 1 there is no hard information, so gut reads are basically all you have. The later you get the more hard information you have and gut reads are much less important.

Honestly what are you guys even doing? This guy has neglected to respond to make any case against him, or even make a counter-case on one of the slots he wants lynched. He's clearly WIFOMing to avoid rope.
