the aggressive shading pinged me HARD, it was unprompted and designed to discredit somebody without addressing their actual content, just the fact that they have content

but i can't tie it to a common scum motivation. to muddy the waters? no, doing it to a more active player would have a much stronger effect. this is in the same realm as picking a fight with someone, which can have a variety of effects to town health (i'm talking out of my ass here) like hasty townreads and polarization of ideas
