Well to put it simply I just lost a game where a baby sitter, a 3 shot-loud-gunsmith, a night-3 gunsmith. A town-combined neighborizer-motion detector, an odd night cop/even night doc, town watcher, town disloyal roll blocker., town vengeful vigilante were the PR claims/flips. And I thought that the baby sitter and the odd night cop/even night doc were town.

That seetup sounds nightmarish.

yeah except the baby sitter claimed day 1 (because I pushed a wagon on her), and the town watcher and 3-shot loud gunsmith. Died day 1 to flash hammer and claimed day 1 respectively and the odd night cop/even night doc claimed day 2 as a counter to a scum fake claim of being a cop.

The baby sitter never died. The doc never died and the baby sitter never successfully protected anyone, while the cop investigated dead people, twice.

The point being,

well, there's not enough claims to get enough of a picture of the setup to know whether or not it's a fake-claim obviously, but it's probably unwise to get rid of it today without a counter-claim

watcher/tracker roles i generally categorise more with 'protective' abilities than 'investigative' fwiw - yes, they're investigative, but they coordinate too well with protective roles for there to be much overlap (e.g. it's unlikely for there to be an ungated watcher/doc in a mini game without there being some serious scum power to counter that)

well not so much tracker roles but watcher roles definitely are 'protective-lite'

I used to be uncanny good* at picking up PR mindset tells and confusing them with scum mindset tells. Fortunately I got better at differentiating.

when i put myself in their shoes I just don't understand. The only games where I haven't cared are when I'm VT or caught scum.

I think that might be a mafia fakeclaim given by the mod, but considering what morph said that's pretty strong fakeclaim.

I agree though that he would probably be into it.
On the other hand statistically PR's and Scum replace out more than town 1:1. (though I believe scum do it slightly more than PRs(?))

I think just based on his personality though, he wouldn't rep out of a town power role, given he dislikes being scum from my understanding of him.
On the otherhand he seemed pretty gung ho about getting better at playing as scum and replaced out anyway.

Nah, he was part of it for a minute. There’s a chance he got scared when I voted him and called him partners with Plus, if I was correct with that.

I’ll likely hold on to that idea until the end
