like, the head of the hydra that is more adept at general scum gamestate manipulation wouldn't be responsible for us getting caught off of the back of a lynch on someone whose flip looks really good for us.

like i feel like anything that i say to point out that scumreads on our slot are really unreasonable will get ignored by virtue of the fact that they come from me
but i really do feel like town should not think that we are scum with the information that they have available to them.

at the very least, our odds of being scum should be probabilistically low enough that somewhere between that and the unlikeliness of actually getting scum us lynched the +ev of pushing on us is vanishingly small and not worth anyone's time.

and that's ignoring all the -ev of pushing on us in the significantly more likely universe where we're town
hey i'm doing what shadoweh called me out on doing and i don't feel at all bad about it ama

This is where I am at with you LLD and Katsuki.

I trust katsuki and LLD not to gamethrow. i'm assuming they're the same alignment if they're not masons. it's not worth my effort to consider the possibility of them being TvS
i have seriously considered the possibility of them being SvS but i think the possibility of other people being scum is way more likely than them.

Like there's a small meta point on LLD and Kats that back in the 2010/2011 era scum would commonly reference buddies in opening. LLD did that. That alone is insufficient for a scumread too.
But it's not worth pursuing because so low odds like I said. Bullets can narrow down more likely targets.
I'm turning my attention to crumbs.

Tana and Ephraim are still town off of D1 play alone. The N1 scum kill isn't scum. If you're going to make the argument that because it's RC he would orchestrate that gambit to try and conf town himself, I would counter that RC isn't going to be lynched as scum—when was the last time that happened? It's better EV wise for scum!RC to use the N1 kill on a townie—potentially hitting a strong PR—and relying on his role to keep any rogue vigs with pet scum reads off him.
But, why? What do I accomplish there? You've never played with scum me but I have no issue bussing my buddies when I'm scum—you can confirm this for yourself. I don't understand what you believe the agenda behind naked unvoting my supposed buddy at L-1 is. I don't even try to push anyone else, I just unvote.
This is important because this feels like very shallow analysis to me and I'm struggling to read your thought process here as genuine.
I liked my Titus/RCE/Croag solve but I don't think that's exactly right anymore. Titus could be scum but is probably town due to the vig. Croag... I think can still be scum? I'm unsure how much her claim clears her.
Outside of that Oversoul probably takes the slot of one of the reads I was wrong on.
I think you could possibly be scum but I need to engage with you more.

i also had exactly this thought at the time
and i don't usually put stock in this tell for most people but i think my associative thought especially on developing this read isn't one that would easily be reverse engineered by scum
didn't you seriously consider it in the middle of D1?
or was that just a random moment of uncertainty or something

nah i've seriously considered it a few times i just usually go away consciously aware that i don't have
the greatest
reasons to townread you but still feeling like you're town anyway \o/

idk I'm aware I'm not playing like, maybe as blatantly town as I usually am able to
but I don't really know how to fix that this game
but I also don't think I'm playing anywhere near my scum game and the actual reasons for scum reading me seem ???
like I understand being within some players' PoEs but DDL's case on me for example I have several issues with

Spoiler: Le crumbs - Part 1
In post 965, Titus wrote:@RC, I'm going to ask you a series of odd-ball questions bc I think you're town and I have an odd decision to make. These questions aren't exclusive to RC. I do give more priority to townreads and strategic thinkers however.
Rank the utility of the following actions for town. Reasons not required. You may or may not factor in your own pm.
1) A cop and a vig
2) 2 roleblocks
3) 2 cops
4) A roleblock and a vig
5) 2 vigs
6) A roleblock and a cop

Worst case scenario our sane cop works every other nightbecause we overheat, best case scenario she acts every night. With the leashing, both best and worst case scenario is every other night.
Pandora and Loki are both represented as dark attribute characters in puzzles and dragons, and are both black. So that's why I picked the names.
Both their mythologies are kind of about subverted expectations.
The issue there is, how crappy do you expect everyone else's abilities to be? How can people judge their own abilities? If we have a gunsmith, should they transform? A tracker? A bodyguard? A motion detector?
Also some can't transform night 1 possibly throwing things off.
