Considering this game has been going for a grand total of five real life days, and two of those days have been in night, I think it is a gross mis-characterization to say I have been coasting through the game.
Whose contributions do you think I should be studying from here?

Why don't we limit the claims to whom everyone targetted? Gives the scum distinctly less info.

I think doing that will allow people to surmise the type of role it is anyway. It should be all or nothing.

I'd say you've been coasting as you've failed to comment on the major lynching wagons period(Maru and especially David yesterday). The only wagon besides mine that you've commented on is the Nocmen wagon and even then you refused to take a stand on it, preferring to question Hoopla about it instead.
Usually you're chock full of reads on other players, tunneling has never been your style, even in Succession Mafia 2 where you got on my case for multiple days, you still were considering other reads. In this game, you're a one-hit wonder who has been singing the same tune all game.

↑ Hoopla wrote:gandalf, why did you spend 97 on the Cop?
I really like investigative roles, so I wanted to have it, but I didn't want to bid 100 on it because I figured someone ELSE who really wanted it might do the same thing, so I thought about bidding 99, but I figured there might be some people bidding 1 or 2 on everything to make sure nothing fell through, and I wanted a decent chance of getting my other item if I didn't get the cop(which really, I thought it was pretty likely that somebody would bid 100 on it). So 97.

In unrelated news, gandalf is town.

It's also important to note that if scum won a particular role, such as Cop for say, 50 points, they can easily claim they bid any number above that without fear. It could be a good way to disguise their other bids. Gandalf's reasoning does seem pretty town, though.

So why do you think Kats is scum?

There wasn't a kill
Claiming targets will allow scum to go, "Oh, so-and-so targeted our failed kill target" or "Oh, so-and-so targeted our killer" and figure out role info that way.

Because I can never read Kats and so far there's no pressing reason to label her town as she has done shit-all all game and it's the best counter-wagon available currently *gasp* and I really don't have any reason to pretend otherwise after being wagoned so quickly?
If anyone showed any interest in an ML wagon, I would all over that shit.

So they'll know a teensy bit more than we do. Big deal. (I suspect the kill target was either chamber or gandalf anyhow, so odds are we'll know it too.)

I feel like the better idea for the claim is as suggested originally, claim the amounts spent on roles, and then claim the roles.

This is a terrible idea.
People who've used abilities should
at least
claim targets. I'm still trying to decide if they should claim action/results as well. I don't think structuring the claim (say like popcorn) is worth the time lag it will cause though. Just throw results out there?

@spyre
For the vanilla vig, does having used all of the abilities you've purchased make you killable?

I'm also not sure if Implosion is dumb or scum.
Someone help me with this.

You think he got DX (whos play was otherwise fairly strong) lynched yesterday just for town cred? I think Implosion is more confirmed town than gandalf (though they are both reasonably confirmed).
