I agree. And I their response was odd too. I might be wrong, but I thought I made clear that that didn't make sense at all.

Not to mention I don't see the Fate-lynch as a good plan: . Even if they are town, if that's the kind of reason they want to defend seriously, I don't think they will be much use in finding scum.
