It also means more chance to be picked apart to death.

This doesn't make sense ani.

There are several titles on this site that were never implemented because there were some really good ones, but people could not stop making new (worse) titles and arguing over the good ones.

So the problem is obviously that we weren't rushing them through fast enough.

 All I was doing was saying that more time =/= better title, like you suggested.

How does that make less time = better titles valid?

That's not what I was saying either. A good title will come independent of time. Time never has, and never will, be a factor in good titles.

That's a ridiculous thing to assume Ani.

Time is relevant so far as other suggestions are concerned.

If you prevent other suggestions from being suggested by power confirming a popular title then those suggestions won't be posted and potentially better titles (good titles as you say) will not be heard or critiqued.

I mean this isn't a problem if Button is willing to just wave his
dick
wand around and redo titles. But...

This is a greatly superior method to the prior one. Speed titling is perfectly fine. And if you really think of a better one, we now have a title fairy that will change old titles. Perfection is the enemy of good.

ani is mostly right here, and you guys are being ridiculous.

Pretty certain I was suggesting that less time == bad titles.

Also wrong. Good titles will come up when they come up, regardless of how much time was spent on an individual title.

On a semi-related note, because Flameaxe said to re nominate Om for a spam finder related title in two months if he's still finding spam (and it's been more than that):

Nominate Om of the Nom for 'Spam? Not For Me.'

EDIT: Althought 'Spam? No Thank you' or something like that may work better.

Spam? Had Some, Thanks
might be more appropriate.

I don't know how you can actually think this is true given the context of our discussion but you'll grow out of it eventually I'm sure.

So um lyk I totally think I should be nominated for a title and anyone who says otherwise is a dumbshit.

Just kidding, I'll shut up this time, except to agree or disagree to a title. For example, I prefer Flay's title to ani's.

Because this was a bad suggestion and also Umbrage hasn't done anything title worthy

There is no such thing as title worthy other than being a member of the site, and somebody suggesting a title for you that is considered to fit well enough by what essentially amounts to a kangaroo court of internet friends and gangsters. get the fuck with the program

nth Dolorous

Om of the Nom: What about
Eats ham and jam

Maybe not so good.

Spambot Stopper
would be another idea considering the amount of spam he reports and I think spam commonly comes from bots.

Mehdi that's not a great title because it's for something he does on the side, not about who he is and who people recognize him as.

Doesn't reference spam as well as I'd like.

This only has a single meaning, what happened last time is that the titles were also referencing the fact that I tend to spam in my games too.
