Mischka and Grischka stood back-to-back in the third floor lobby, practicing their knife-throwing. Without a sound, the stern-faced twins hurled their blades simultaneously, on fixed intervals. The knives thudded quietly into the lobby walls in rhythmic fasion, each one striking precisely where they were intended to do so.
The twin henchmen had long realized that by sticking together overnight, they were less likely to fall victim to the violence that plagued the darker hours -- even if they had no escape from each day's lynchings.
Unfortunately for them, somebody was feeling ambitious.
A gloved hand snaked out from behind an ajar door, holding a 9mm equipped with a silencer. The barrel of the handgun swiveld about slowly, silently. Both twins were completely oblivious to the killer just outside in the hallway.
In an instant, Grischka fell to the ground, a neat bullethole in his forehead, blood seeping from his wound. Mischka, feeling his brother falling away from him, whirled around and hurled a knife at the door. The gloved hand disappeared just as the blade sunk into the wall beside the door. Mischka muttered a curse under his breath and crept towards the doorway.
Listening intently, Mischka guessed at the direction his assailant took, and followed suit. He turned a corner in the hallway just in time to see the shadowy figure ducking around another corner. Mischka began to follow suit, when a different person dropped from a vent down onto him, sending them both tumbling to the ground.
Mischka flailed about, finally finding his kinfe and grabbing onto it, slashing up at his attacker. The man rolled away into a crouch, as Mischka scrambled to his feet. The two eyed each other for a lingering moment, neither character making a sound. In a flash, Mischka turned the knife in his hand and flung it at the attacker. Inexplicably, the attacker dodged the blade, which slammed into the wall mere inches from the man's head. The man pulled the knife out of the wall and leapt at Mischka, just as Mischka tried to tug another knife from his belt.
Mischka felt the assailant slam into him, driving him back into the wall and forcing the air from his lungs. Stunned, Mischka offered only a faint swipe at his attacker before the man closed in again with his own deadly weapon.
The next morning, only three men remained. They met in preparation for a final showdown -- one that no individual was sure he would walk away from.

With three players alive, it takes two votes to lynch.
You realize that trying to get me lynched will still end in your loss because you are a member of the town?wolfsbane wrote:It looks like Bond is immune to your roleblocking...you should have picked me.
I guess an SK/mafia tie is my best option. I guess chamber could roleblock me and hand DP the win, but the safe play is to take out chamber and go for the tie.
What do you say DP?
Taking a break from the site.
See you make it apperent that you are town by even suggesting that there is a way for me as town to win, that could only happen if we no lynch, and we are clearly lynching you.wolfsbane wrote:I guess you're hoping to confuse the situation so that DP and I target each other. You should just accept that you're going to lose.

It id odd, but in my two final mafia games I end up twice in a 3 player end game. I screwed up my penultimate one, so I am not going to rush this one. There are other things to consider as well, like the possibility of an un-nightkillable GF - in which case a no lynch or a townie lynch would hand the game to the scumbags.
Need to think.

Alright, here's my take right now.
We have one scum left, a Godfather, and most likely with night protection. The clue is on the list of deaths (MrBuddyLee -- Fransisco Scaramanga, 1-Shot
This means that if we lynch the townie, or me, or even if we go for no lynch, the mafia wins as I cannot kill the bastard.
Therefore I am willing to settle for a draw with the last remaining townie - by lynching the Godfather.
Both of you, please convince me why YOU are the last remaining townie and the other one is scum.

Let me make it clearer what I mean.
if we manage to lynch the GF today, I give the remaining townie my word that I will not kill him the coming night. I am fine with the mod declaring a draw right after the lynch.
If my assumption of an unkillable GF is right, this is the only way that town and I can avoid a mafia win.

I should make it very clear that I am claiming to be the gf, but I'm far from unkillable. we -did- have a doctor in this game, and I can only assume that accounts for theDragon Phoenix wrote:Let me make it clearer what I mean.

kill, unless of course it is you who is unnkable.@wolf your only chance to win is for us to no lynch now, don't listen to him trying to get you to lynch me, he'll kill you in night and win for himself.

The Anticlimactic ending!!
I was writing up a flavorful final nightscene, and my computer crashed as I was doing so. So here's a very not-flavorful kill scene.
wolfsbane -- Maz Zorin, Townie -- Shot Night 4
Dragon Phoenix -- James Bond 007, Serial Killer -- Shot Night 4
chamber -- Ernst Stavro Blofeld, SPECTRE Godfather
along with Mariyta
and PookyTheMagicalBear
win!!Roles and night choices coming up in a moment...
