Mod Notes: Night Choices

Day 1: Flameaxe uses up his one shot ability to shoot down nuke headed for Jdodge.

Night 1: Stark kills Jdodge, ChaosOmega uses mafia roleblocker ability targeting archaist, archaist attempts to steal nukes from JDodge and sell to Flameaxe (ability only failed because he was roleblocked; it otherwise would have taken place before JDodge had died and would have worked, and both archaist and flameaxe would have acquired nuclear weapons. That would have been interesting...)

Night 2: Stark kills xdaamno.

Night 3: Dragon of Summer uses Millitary Occupation ability on Flameaxe, both roleblocking him that night and preventing him from using any nuclear weapons the next day. Stark decides to no-kill.
Mod note: If Flameaxe had had any nuclear weapons, he would have been informed at the start of the day of his inability to use them.

The "secret number", the number of nukes it would take to destroy the world, was in this game a number randomally chosen before the game started to be a number between 5 and 8. (Or, to put it in dice terms, 1d4+3). So the town was correct to be worried that 4 nukes was a dangerously high number. However, the secret number was, in fact, 7 nukes needed to destroy the world. The "radiation level" thing in the mod post was a hint; it was set up so that it would go to "High" at 2 nukes short of apocolypse, and then "Very high" at 1 nuke short of apocolypse.

Some mod thoughts:

I think this game was better balanced then the last. I gave the town a little more power; the two one-shot abilities were fragile but both were quite powerful. Dragon of Summer was probably smart to not claim his entire role; I did design that role keeping in mind that if someone claimed America and claimed that he might turn into a miller he would probably be highly suspected. I was surprised by how he used it, though; I was expecting him to at least try to convince the town to lynch first with 4 people left so if they mislynched he could then try to both role-block and nuke-block the last scum that night to keep the town alive.

MVP this game was clearly Stark, for a strong and solidly played game throughout and for winning the game almost entirely on his own through excellent and subtle scum play throughout the game. Honorable mentions go to Jdodge, for killing a scum day 1, to Flameaxe, for correctly preventing a day 1 nuking of a pro-town person, and to UltimaAvalon, for following my "Nuke all lurkers" sig advice and killing a scum in the process. :)

Edit: Sorry, Jdodge. :( Fixed.
