Scum have no incentive to engage with that possibility; it's the responsibility of other townies to really dig into whether it's a fight north defusing.
That's why I thought Icy was town.

he has solid scum play tho ;)
Optimal scum Accountant play against Icy is to draw/bait him into a long back and forth(similar to Day 2 but with him on the aggressive side) that makes him look silly or stubborn, especially if I'm playing with people that have already seen me and Icy interact in other games.

I'll probably say that the vote/leave bit on d3 wasn't optimal. Like, if that's a scam run just to see if people will react then MAYBE it's ok, but it's pretty early in the day to potentially make a game-ending vote I think.

I don't really know why I keep attracting the quickest games but it's pretty nice tbh

I also just modded a micro that took <1 week

And it was NOT blitz rules either!

Call it a quirk of my playstyle - I believe it's important for town to find something they can hammer on and throw down the gauntlet. I did it for Huntress and I did it for Scarlet.

I fixed your post :P

More seriously though I think in LYLO it's usually best to really talk things out, ESPECIALLY in an environment where things went by probably too quickly d1/d2. I tend to be super conservative in MYLO/LYLO voting (at least in a game with hammer vote mechanics) because at that point a mistake can = game over.

That's what makes it exciting, mhsmith! It's like going all in in a game of poker!f

I agree with Accountant. Going back to the D2 TvT...Had Huntress claimed, it would have been interesting to see what would have come next. Perhaps an Accountant lynch; but maybe not. For a PR not to claim at intent is really bad.

says the derphammer guy.

p-edit

Also agree with the Mylo/Lylo sentiment. Why didn't Accountant advocate for a no lynch in MyLo? That made me scum read him more.

Well if it was MYLO then NL may be ok but it was LYLO as no kills had been prevented.

Great. Can we play one of those together where you're scum and I'm town?

My town game is in the negative win%.

Frankly it's easier when you know who's scum and who's town at the beginning of the game.

Still being scum can be just as stressful.

Ditto fwiw, but mainly as scum. My scum confidence STILL hasn't recovered from the ass kicking I got in fruit salad, the Disney princesses, then resistance:shield.

Of course I ALSO have a town losing record (5-5 here, 1-2 off site), but at least that's closer to .500 and I've run up against some super-powered scum teams (including two of playdip's best in my first ever game, a MYLO sub for open 635 where scum team got a scummy nomination, etc.) and one game that was a completely broken setup.

I'm mainly thankful my horrific 6-game losing streak is well in the past. The self-pity I churned out post games got to be a bit painful to watch I think

I find fake scum hunting to be incredibly difficult, possibly because I'm too obvious with my actual scum hunting when I'm town (13 non turbo town games, zero times mislynched)

I'm good with releasing the scum chat too.
Also Accountant, sorry again :P, I really enjoyed playing a game with you, and I'd happily do it again.

I had to take a 6 month hiatus before returning to play again. At the time I was reeling from games prior and basically one game bled into another with my lack of self confidence.

I'll try and come up with commentary when I have some time. Also need to update the OP to show links properly.
