Spoiler:
[quote=I Keep Siteflaking post_id=12181173 time=1601513630 user_id=34713]The traditional tool for making dowels is a dowel plate, an iron (or better, hardened tool steel) plate with a hole having the size of the desired dowel. To make a dowel, a piece of wood is split or whittled to a size slightly bigger than desired and then driven through the hole in the dowel plate. The sharp edges of the hole shear off the excess wood.
A second approach to cutting dowels is to rotate a piece of oversized stock past a fixed knife, or alternatively, to rotate the knife around the stock. Machines based on this principle emerged in the 19th century. Frequently, these are small bench-mounted tools.
For modest manufacturing volumes, wood dowels are typically manufactured on industrial dowel machines based on the same principles as the rotary cutters described above. Such machines may employ interchangeable cutting heads of varying diameters, thus enabling the machines to be quickly changed to manufacture different dowel diameters. Typically, the mechanism is open-ended, with material guides at the machine's entry and exit to enable fabrication of continuous dowel rod of unlimited length. Since the 19th century, some of these dowel machines have had power feed mechanisms to move the stock past the cutting mechanism.
High-volume dowel manufacturing is done on a wood shaper, which simultaneously forms multiple dowels from a single piece of rectangular stock (i.e., wood). These machines employ two wide, rotating cutting heads, one above the stock and one below it. The heads have nearly identical cutting profiles so that each will form an array of adjoined, side-by-side "half dowels". The heads are aligned to each other and one head is shaped to make deeper cuts along the dowel edges so as to part the stock into individual dowel rods, resulting in a group of dowel rods emerging in parallel at the machine's output.

Can I just say
How It’s Made
I’d honestly a really engrossing show

See I have a role that iirc prioritizes knowledge so I went to the library instead of the gym
Just figured I’d put that out there before stats showed up and everyone started pointing fingers at me for a bad reason

I mean. We can win only by eliminating doctors. Gym or no gym.
I didn't go to the gym, I went exploring and I found a rather fun little item that I'd love to play with today
It's a homing pigeon, essentially I give it to another player and they can send me a 300 character message back, they can then send it back to me and I can make a reply.
So essentially I can use it to have private conversations with other players
If people trust me, I would love to send it out to a load of different people and if anyone has any information leading to a scum then I can out the information to the town but not who the information came from.

I volunteer as tribute to prove the magical pigeon powers, but would prefer to wait until daystart to do so. If possible, could you ask the following questions: can the pidgin be gifted and used in the same phase (use it on me gift it to Ydrasse, for example, and then potentially have Ydrasse use it), does using the pigeon count as gifting it even though you know it will come back, and can you gift the pigeon without it coming back? I don’t think we necessarily want to use the pigeon as a claim obfuscation device, since it’s unlikely we have a full investigative role in a setup with unreliable nightkills and the nightkills are unreliable anyway.
Honestly, I was kinda hoping it was a targeted role blocker and not a room stopper, but this actually makes individual choice more important not less. We got unlucky randing the gym right away, because it was always going to be a high traffic room. On the other hand:
I have a role that has a visual impact on the thread when it is used.
is that statement true of anyone else? I mean... other than the hammer only role, which clearly has an effect on the role and the one shot heal.

It's a bit weird in the way it works but from what I understand it works like this:
-I give pigeon to someone
-They send me a message
-They then have the pigeon to give to who they want
I will say that given it can be used as a powerful tool to send private messages in which scum can't see, I will be super sus of anyone who doesn't send me the pigeon back.
In terms of multiple gifting, I did ask and I was told that it can be gifted at any time and that it follows the normal rules of giving items which now looking at the rules states it can only be done once per day/night phase...which actually now that I think about it means I need to change this strat...hmm
In post 6, lilith2013 wrote:Each Item can only be given away once per Dawn/Day/Night cycle. For example, if Player A gave an Item to Player B during Day 1, Player B could not give the Item to anyone until the start of Day 2
I'll hold onto it for now and then if I'm getting the sense that someone is trying to say something without actually saying it then I might send it their way
Also this is why I didn't go into the gym, felt it would've been a prime target for scum

Can someone do a running tally of who went where after everyone claims their actions?

I’m keeping track and will share my notes if asked at some later point, ABR.
I have some thoughts about the usage of the pigeon, but would be interested in why you think sending it to not you is scummy.

Nah, that’s at cm. Sorry for the ambiguity. I’m mobile posting and helping someone with paperwork simultaneously.

So Far:
not sure if beeboy was saying he was also going to gym
we are missing a few people - is everyone else still alive out there?
