Trace: Target a player. If they detected and you were not Traced, you will receive the name of the player they detected. Otherwise, you will receive no result.

It's not a bad idea at all because if someone's trace fails with no explanation, we'll know who Victor is. That, of course, relies on Victor going early in the massclaim, but it's a relatively innocuous piece of information to claim that keeps the covers of all the specials while giving the potential to catch scum in a lie.

Also, you don't get to shit on me until either 1) one of your scum reads actually flips scum or 2) I have my gimp suit on.

@TTH, I get to disagree with you all I want until one of your scumreads flips scum. You haven't been proven right or wrong on anything this game. The only thing I trust 100% is my VCA. Period. I'll trust my own reads over yours unless you provide a compelling case. All evidence points towards Bulba town, so you want to start that fight, go ahead.

Any "positive" result requires the target to detect. If the target traced, no result is given and thus a false negative is given. So by anyone who didn't get a result, it just suggests the target is a VT. That's a strong reason I don't like Vezok saying he traced you.

Given what information has already been needlessly given to scum, I think claiming failed traces (i.e. claiming not to have used detect) is a terrible idea and that we should stop discussing it immediately so as to give nothing away.

I have a day off tomorrow and, once I've done my civic duty, I intend to look through some suspects. UT will definitely be among them. As has been said before, while I agree with UT's opinion on the quality of this thread, I don't think he's doing anything that he couldn't or wouldn't do as scum and I haven't seen much by way of righteous scum-killin'.

Well I ISOd him a few days ago and didn't find anything particularly egregious that I couldn't then reconcile with another post of the opposite alignment. His last few posts of MD1 were pretty terrible, though.

UT wagon is dumb because he's baned. He's not going anywhere. I don't think his lynch will give much information if he flips town or scum and I seriously feel like he's more of a PoE scumread than he is an actual scumread in many ways. [or at least that's how I'm perceiving him atm]
I think DV's apologetic "I am sorry I am not here pls forgive me"ness every single post he makes is a schtick and I'm arguably more tired of it than I am UT's dickishness.
