I ran an MS Paint themed game back in the day, but it was pretty specific. People seemed to enjoy it.

It was UPick death scenes which I recreated in MS Paint (very poorly).

Did he steal it from you?

No idea who that is. Mine was from silverbullet’s driving thread in f62 that was a site meme at the time, and was fairly specific. Could have just been independent genius. It’s definitely a repeatable idea.

I’m pretty sure this was the first GOT game on site. There were likely more later, but this is the first.

This is it. It’s so old it’s only partially archived. But like I said above, the idea could be done endlessly and it would still be fun so it hardly matters.

Would anyone be interested if I modded another Knight-Errant game? It's an 18 player semi-open game that's been played twice, NY 166 and NY 173.

Putting together a game based on this awesome game with some non-traditional roles and mechanics. Anybody else ever play it?

Gauging interest for mafiascum Ultimate Werewolf Legacy.

Ultimate Werewolf Legacy uses gameplay similar to Ultimate Werewolf, but you no longer have single standalone games as players and the village itself have attributes that are retained between games, with events that take place in the first games having effects that ripple through remaining games. Make a bad decision early on, and it can haunt the village for years to come! Players can earn titles, which provides them with special abilities in future games, regardless of their role. Players are each given a public family card in addition to their secret role card, and they team up with the other members of their family to work together...unless one or more of their family members is secretly working against them.

As for the village, there are multiple paths that the game may take, and as a result the experience you have playing through the entire game will differ from someone else who is playing with another set of people.

(Source: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/206 ... olf-legacy)

There are 16 games in the campaign, split into 5 chapters and an introductory preface game. Players can jump in out between games, but you get the best experience when playing through all the games.

So the thing is, this would be a pretty damn long campaign if run in Forum but I would still think this would be fun.

I wanted to do this because I have the game box but no party to play it with.

If there's enough interest I will run this as 15-player games (maybe blitz deadline?). Players in Game 1 (preface) will be able to name and play one of the 15 villagers that will be played with throughout the whole campaign.

Has there been a Good Place themed game, and if not would anyone want to play one?

(It would probably just be a flavored nearly-normal)

The Good Place would be a fantastic theme. I haven't seen it done here.

Gauging interest in theme game focused on Nier: Automata

Expect there to be heavy flavor, roles derived from that the original flavor, and at least one unique global mechanic for people to play around.
I'm set on running this soon as a part of a theme exchange with Alisae, who will be (hopefully) running a game based on the theme I gave them (Megaman BattleNetwork).
My biggest question for people is
1. Is this something you would be excited to play
and, much more importantly,
2. What size of a game should I make? Right now, I'm leaning towards either a 13 player mini-theme or a Large theme with no more than 18 players. Thoughts?

I'm fond of mini's (so 13p is my vote)

Gauging interest in theme game where there is an alternating mod every day.

-The mod is a role and not the actual mod that runs the game.
-The mod is responsible for the vote count and determining when an elimination occurs. The mod does not know who the mafia players are.
-Day 1 a random player is the mod.
-Each night the mod is replaced by another town player, and the previous day's mod becomes a non aligned player in the game.
-The game will initially consist of 16 town, 2 mafia, and the mod.

Dead to Me
?

The mod would be come a non aligned role and would win as their role says. For example, survivor making it to endgame or SK eliminating enemies. The actual mod would post the flip.

Has a S.T.A.L.K.E.R themed mini ever been done before?
that'd be something i'd like to try making/running in like a month

would there be interest for a darkest dungeon mini theme?

Basically everyone would be one of the various heroes of the game
I'd use a few mechanics from the game, positioning, stress and town events come to my mind first
And i'd try to reduce as much as possible the inherently random nature of the game it's taken from

Who'd be interested in a 2-parter Musroom Kindom vs Hyrule Kingdom?

In one part, The Mushroom Kingdon would be the Town and a few Hyrule scouts would be the Mafia, and in the other part, it would be vice versa.
