VOTE: Axelrod
Well, that came out of left field.
You're not going to turn out to actually be scum, are you podo? Because that would make me sad.
Nope
↑ Axelrod wrote:You're putting your faith in Cakez?
CAKEZ?
He and Marquis are the only players I have experience playing with, and I feel like I can read him. He gives me town vibes, though switching off of Mirhawk without an explanation rubbed me the wrong way. I debated scumreading it, but the only way he's scum doing that is if Mirhawk is a scum partner, and that just seems too bananas to be true.

What's the point of saying this? "I wasn't going to do the thing but I decided to do it anyway--lucky you!!"

By which I mean your welcome for leaving you all a comprehensive reads list so you can see what my thoughts on all the players in the game were after I'm dead. It's no big deal, it only took up an hour of my time.
I'm glad to see that you read it thoroughly and have questions or opinions on the things I said.
I'm not at all annoyed/disappointed with you for only having an opinion on an inane nothing comment I threw out there before making it.

↑ Mirhawk wrote:It can't just be the scum as there can't be more then three or four of them in total, most of the town apparently decided that they wouldn't even acknowledge that this is even happening for ~reasons~.
That's why I don't think TPP is scum. Also, they didn't flat-out lie. They were annoyingly vague about it, but they didn't
lie.

They're town because nobody, town OR scum will give my case the time of day?
That's not really so much an indication of alignment as it's an indication that nobody cares.
Also, they did lie. They said they couldnt explain their read on Tictac without outing a whole bunch of PR's. This was untrue, In reality they could have explained their read by exposing a small portion of tictac's role. Or they could have said they didn't want to say, or they could have said that their results came from another PR. They didn't do any of those things, instead they lied. In reality they didn't even need to say anything about Cakez to explain their read, and even most of what they said about Tictac himself could have been held back.

I'm personally of the opinion that the only reason they posted Cakez's crumbing adventures is because they knew they had said earlier that they had said they needed to out other players to explain their read on Cakez.

Wait, that should end with "read on Tictac".
whoops

Why would they bother to out the PRs as scum at all when they could just quietly nightkill them later without worrying about them being protected?

I could be swayed onto an Axel wagon.
Just sayin

Are we talking about the hypothetical PR's that would be revealed if they revealed their information on Tictac, or the information on Tictac/Cakez?
For the first, they didn't actually reveal them. Even if they did I'm moderately sure it would just turn out to be a bunch of other crumb softs. We all know how the one with Cakez went, so colour me unimpressed.
For the second, all they really revealed were crumbs that were not actually crumbs at all and a JOAT that had used two thirds of his abilities. It's also entirely possible that they aren't worried about Flubber being able to use his last ability due to some kind of interference, or they aren't worried about him using it on someone who they don't want him to.

Though to be honest stache, I can see it from your side too. There isn't any reason scum wouldn't do what you're proposing.

I'm shortening your name to Stache from now on. I was using Pistachio for a while, but Stache is way more amusing.

So why not take your vote off TPP and put it back on Cakez?

You present an plausible hypothetical situation, but there isn't really any reason that either yours or mine are more likely to be correct.
The core of my case is that a town player wouldn't look at a situation where there were multiple ways to respond and choose to pick the one that involves lying to everyone for no benefit.

I'm super tempted to vote Cakez for lol's.
However I would rate the odds of Cakez being lynched today as close to zero.
Piper isn't that likely either, but at least they're more likely then Cakez. I'm thinking... thirty percent.
It would be lower, but I'm expecting my totally awesome reads list to sway the fringe vote.
They're going to be all "Oh snap. Look how personable and genuine Mirhawk is, they must be town".

Jokes aside why are you asking about Cakez?
I can't remember what your read on him is, are you scumreading him?

It doesn't really matter in any case, as a VT it's more or less impossible for my flavor to have anything to do with my role.
To be honest, my flavor actually would imply that I'm a cop. But sadly I am not.
I don't want to do shenanigans with it. There's nothing that I could do aside from investigating you and confirming or denying it.
I also don't get the crumb... so if you could just claim flavour that'd be handy.
(I tried looking it up this morning but found nothing.)

I also still don't get the thrust of you weakly saying that Piper's scum for lying. I mean I get that their initial representation of what info they had and what would happen if they claimed is basically bullshit but I still don't get why this is a move that scum make that makes things easier for them.
I mean were they representing a big important PR that shouldn't be touched or questioned? Maybe. But given how hard I went on them yesterday (along with some others) - is this a good move for scum to draw attention to themselves and start crumbing shit all over the place?
You'd need the converse side of it to make sense, not just "It doesn't make sense for town".
"Does it make sense for scum?"

Don't nip at the IC.
unless you have an investigate result on them that doesn't make sense
Also what are your thoughts on the way Piper claimed on your behalf and the conclusions they drew from your neighbourhood?
Are you thinking Piper's town overall? Or do things feel off?

I'd do this, but it actually feels like Mirhawk's just given up and I don't know what to make of that.
Axel's had his "communication issues" for half or more of this dayphase and I think regardless of what happens today he's in the spotlight tomorrow.
