No octopi is very wrong.

I mean... people eat octopi, seeing them isn’t a huge accomplishment.

Octopuses is the english plural, fitting since it's an english word. Octopodes is the greek plural, fitting since it's from a greek root. Octopi is the latin plural, which is blatantly wrong.

Let's make sure we nominate this game for every scummy we can so that we force the judges to read this bitch. :P
(Shhhhh. I know. There's a critical flaw in this plan. :P)
you mean the judges don't just roll dice to decide the winners

Is this like how you’re not supposed to refer to a large group of humans as a target?

Can we all just agree that a group of octopi is a gaggle?

Octopi is from english speakers who think octopus sounds latin pretending it's latin and giving it a plural which sounds latin when it isn't latin.

(Sadly by how often I'm being pedited, I'd say it's safe to say we've got a large stockpile of people lacking it right now. :P)

I don't really have a stance on the collective noun. Too much energy devoted to caring about the plural form.

Otters are in aquariums? I've seen them in zoos but never aquariums.

I’ve milked cows, and was present when a pig my old boss had named and raised was slaughtered.

I saw an otter at an aquarium once. They were my favorite so I when I went to SeaWorld I tried my damnedest to find one there but I they only had one otter that walks across the stage briefly during a specific show and that's it. Maybe they are supposed to be categorized zoo and that was the problem with my expectations
