Just went through discord talk with unwnd and I would like to clarify that he stated explicitly that he didn’t provide fake claims to the scum team at the beginning of the game.

When I say fakeclaim I don't mean a mod-crafted fakeclaim.

In fact letting the gamestate impact whether you answer a question is arguably bastard because it's mod influence on the game.

This presumably means that at least some of the scum have roles they can reasonably claim

But I also wouldn't say that it's a towntell for me to be reasonable wrt mechanics, since I generally don't lie about that stuff as scum.

There are a lot of reasons why a scum watcher hypothetically would target a townie leader who just led a town yeet on a scum target after day 1. Some of them involve role confirmation for being read as town/not being seen as suspicious. Some of them involve information fishing, as many roles might be likely to target me that night and they would be roles scum would want to remove. Granted, Sigmund was claimed, but it's a large.

i agree with it. if it is meta, not that, but while "uptight" isn't really the word i use i think Guillotina's attitude rang very genuine and very town. even if i disagreed with his methods they were consistent with what i could glean from him as a player and his reactions were consistently good.

@Titus - don't really agree with the theory, a hypothetical scum Math could have made the choice to watch LLD in order to trueclaim his action, or for some other reason to learn about town PRs. i don't think it would be my first instinct as a scum watcher to watch my buddies necessarily.
